Best place to sit and drink a beer in the World Showcase.
Call me silly, but I just got a thought (and it got really lonely, really quickly!) about a "best of" segment and a title for ep. 42 of the podcast -----
"Best of: Questions regarding WDW/Disney/Disney Parks in General"
Title for Ep. 42: "The Ultimate Questions....."
(Don't know why, but I've got "Hitchhikers Guide" stuck in my head this morning....)
I am planning a trip in December and I'm a bit bummed the CG will be closed for a lengthy refurb. I know it is a good thing in the long run, but I'll miss it on my February trip.
Along those lines, I thought a good podcast "Best ot..." topic would be: What attraction/restaurant closure would make you change your travel dates? Is there one thing at WDW that would be a deal breaker?
Don't forget to update with Ep. 39 :mickey:
Since this subject is very currently on my mind...
Best Thing you want to do at Disney that you would need "special permission for" like...
Go to top of Spaceship Earth and peek out the top
Be at Takeoff or Landing when Tink flies
Private Tour of Haunted Mansion behind the scenes
Be a character for a day/half-day!
Ride at the front of the monorail... :(
See what they do to prep for wishes each day
Ride on a parade float in costume
what else...??
New idea:
Best of things to do when it rains
I have a "best of" suggestion: favorite rare character siting/meet, so basically a rare character that you saw/meet at any point in your life that you enjoyed for whatever reason
some other "best of"'s that I just thought of:
favorite snack, not necessarily in the DDP sense, just a snack, not a dessert (that you would get from a table service restaurant after a meal), but a between meals snack.
favorite restaurant you expected to hate but didn't
the restaurant you feel is most overrated/underrated
favorite ride preshow/holding area
favorite cast member experience
favorite animatronic that no longer works, hehehe
How about your ahha moment? When you realize you are at the World.
I have an idea for a new Best Of:
Best Of Celebrity Cameo in an attraction
For example my favorite is Kramer ( I can't think of his real name) as the caveman who discovers fire in Ellen's Energy Adventure!!
Here are a couple of suggestions:
Best of: The Worst. What are your worst attractions/shows/restaurants/etc. (Probably best to choose one lol)
Best of: In-Queue Entertainment. Which attraction/show has the queue that best keeps you entertained while waiting?
Best of: The Worst Queues. Which queue is the worst to have to wait in a long line in?
Best of: Ways to Break the Bank. What is the best thing to splurge on that could potentially drain your wallet?
Best of: Wastes of Space. What is lingering around the parks that you think should be replaced with something new?
Best of: resorts due for a redesign and how you could change it. It doesn't have to be actually due for refurb. For example, my choice would be the brand new AoA.
I like the worst of ideas up there...and the money saving tip ones. I would like to suggest best park attraction/land/ect that didn't happen...something like Beastly Kindgom or Westcot.
In the Spirit of Thanksgiving this week (for us Americans) and the coming Chiristmas and Huanuka Holidays.....
Best place on property for a proper Holiday meal.
Thought of a best of idea, hope no one else has suggested, best of holiday decorations.
Hi everyone - we are taping on Sunday! Have any more Best Of ... suggestions? We will be picking over the weekend...
Thanks for all the requests so far! :mickey:
How about the best of the worst souvenirs to give somebody? Mine would have to be those Grammy awards you can buy in the jewelry store on main street and at HWS that say best mom or dad or whatever. Who wouldn't want that gold statue on your shelf from Disney?
Best intercot moderator .....
