Does anyone know if there are any taxis that can accommodate a scooter we can use there? I'm sure a regular car wouldn't work but I didn't know if there were some that were vans.

Yes, there are van taxis that can take on scooters. If you are going from a resort you just ask bell services to call for one. I've never used a taxi from a park so I don't know about how to request one there.
