Dining outside WDW
Can anyone suggest places to eat outside WDW?
The parks, hotels and Downtown Disney are so crowded right now. We couldn't find anywhere to eat last night!!! We are not staying on property (for the first time ever!) The trip was planned within 4 days of arriving because an ankle injury derailed our ski plans.
We are looking for food other than burgers and fries. Our stomachs can't take anymore!!!
We are staying about 5 miles outside of WDW.
Thanks!!

Emeril's Restaurant Tchoup chop is down in the universal area. We had a fantastic meal there a few years ago. May want to check the menu out online, it was a bit pricey but the food was phenomenal!

The Crossroads has a variety of places to eat. You will find it at the entrance to DTD via Hotel Row. The Cossroads is on Route 535 and there are many and varied resturants on that road. Route 192 also has some good choices on it. I ate at a Macaronni Grill there in January that was very nice. Either route has a selection of fast food, seafood and steak resturants. I think you can't go wrong in choosing one of those routes. Hope you enjoy your stay.
