Upcoming trip good news/bad news
Well we're just 44 days out from our first WDW trip as a family of four and I couldn't be more excited! There have been a few early disappointing things that have popped up, but overall, I anticipate a potentially wonderful trip in the making.
The bad news:
1. Toy Story Mania will be closed during my trip. Not only are we going to miss out on the relatively new and most popular ride, I'm guessing that the crowds that would normally be in line waiting for this ride will be dispersed among the remaining DHS rides, thus increasing the wait times. No way of proving that of course.
2. Another disappointing closure is IASW. I was looking forward to riding that with my kids. :(
3. Finally, it appears that the last MSEP will be taking place the night before our arrival. This was also something I really wanted the kids to see. If I didn't already have nonrefundable plane tickets, I'd alter the trip to see it. Oh well.
The good (wonderful, magical) news:
1. We saved a TON on the trip by getting the free dining plan. Woo hoo!
2. Space and Splash Mountain will be open. Those would be HUGE disappointments if they were closed. 10 days to fit them in too.
3. Port Orleans Riverside seems like a great place to stay. Looking forward to it! :mickey:
4. We're going to WDW! (Seriously, I can hardly believe it!) :mickey::mickey::mickey:
