Magic Your Way Tickets
We will be at WDW for 8 full days in April. Originally, we planned to go to the parks 5-6 days, and have some pool days, etc. Looking at the prices of the tickets it's only a few dollars more to buy the 8 day tickets. I first found this hard to believe that we could have 8 day tickets for $6 more than the 5 day ticket. Are people generally doing it this way with this new pricing?
We are now thinking of doing a few big park days, then some short days, either mornings or nights.
Also, we want to do a water park, and oldest ds wants to do Disney Quest. It seems best to do the water park option if we do both quest and water park, but for one visit to water park to just buy a single day pass.
Just wanted to run my ideas past the experts and see if anyone has advice to add.
Thanks!

:welcome: to Intercot!
In my opinion, you might as well add the extra days. You could even just do a dinner at a park or maybe some shopping for something you forgot. Hey, for a few dollars, you could run to a park for one last ride
I would do the math on the options. I think you will get 8 options on an 8 day pass. You only need 2. If it still costs less to add it to your tickets, do it and leave an unexpected evening at DQ or a hop to a water park open. But if it costs a lot less to just pay regular admission, I would do that.
Hope this helps a little!

I remember the first time we booked under the "new"prices and couldn't believe that just for a few bucks more we could get added days.I think the pricing structure is great for the consumer. Now that we go so often we just get the AP,but the MYW pricing is pretty good.It keeps the guest at Disney rather than going up the road to Universal or SeaWorld.

Thanks for the replies.
Kelly, I am from MA originally, all of my family is still there.
Pete, We love the RI shore, grew up going to Misquamicut, went a few years ago and the beach seems so small and washed away. We go every year to Narragansett and rent a house with family.
I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.....
