What sort of things are you looking to know? I'm sure within the vast base of knowledge that is Intercot we know loads about Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! :mickey:
As a taster though: here is the intercot pages about the water parks. Clicking on the links with the names of each park at the end of it gives the lowdown on the rides, things to do and places to eat at each of them.

Both have nice wave pools.
The wave pool at BB is fairly gentle.
The wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon has VERY strong waves that you can body surf.
Both waterparks have standard climb up and slide down: 1. just your body or 2. rubber raft/tube or mat. Typhoon lagoon wave pool has enough power for surfing or knocking you down. Some slides in each are family sized. Each has some areas suitable for small children. Both have lots of lounge chairs. Blizzard beach has more big thrill slides that scare me and pull swimsuits off the unwary. Both advise against suits with metal buckles or decorations. You will need some kind of water shoes or flipflops for all the walking. Have fun.
You'll find all kinds of opinions about the waterparks, everyone has their favorite.
It's really a matter of personal preference. Typhoon Lagoon has a more tropical theme with a laid back feel to it. Most people prefer TL's wave pool over that at BB. The wave pool at BB is very small.
Both have a lazy river where you can lounge in a tube and just float around all day.
But, Blizzard Beach has Summit Plummet............
So, as you can see both parks have a lot to offer, including areas for the younger kids.
How to body surf at TL:
*** you must be able to swim and tread water great to attempt this ****
1. Swim to about 15 feet from the ropes
2. Find a spot away from anyone beside you and if possible as few people in front of you
3. When you first see the "big one" roll, begin to swim as fast as you can towards shore
4. Stay on top
5. As the wave nears, throw your hands out in front superman style and keep kicking to maintain speed.
6. The wave at this point will begin to do the work
7. Smile as you near the shore!
Last summer we did both parks in one day... and made it! However, do not rely on bus transportation if you are going to do this...
f you can, drive your own vehicle...
we spent two hours "bussing" it around
They were fun parks, both very well themed...
:wave: Both parks rock! BB has Summitt Plummitt...nuf said! Tl has the better wave pool though, and Shark Reef is a must-do for me . Depending on the ages and preferences of your kids, they'll enjoy either!:thumbsup:
I found blizzard beach to have longer waits on the popular water slides than typhoon lagoon's
Hi everyone I am back I had a question for FROG ummm so should I go on the bus or no because me and my family can t use our on vechile we are going to Disney by airplane so should I take bus or Monarail and The Question for Should I go on Bus or Monarail is for everyone. if we could do it over and did not have a car, and wanted to do them both in one day, we would probably have to do it like we did. We did Blizzard beach in the am, then took a bus to a resort, then took a bus from the resort to Typhoon lagoon. The wait to go to the resort from blizzard, then the wait at the resort for the bus to typhoon is what got us...
Our favorite attraction at Blizzard Beach: Teamboat Springs; the longest (and funnest) family raft ride in the world. It's worth going to BB all by itself, if you like (water) sliding together as a family.
On the other hand, Typhoon Lagoon has much bigger (and funner) waves in its wave pool.
But then, BB has taller and faster body slides,
But then again, TL has Crush 'n Gusher, a "coaster' water slide that BB can't match.
So you see there are good reasons for enjoying both water parks, and that is exactly what we do on every visit. Why choose one, when you can enjoy both! :thumbsup::)
If you don't have a car with you at Disney, you will have to take the bus to and from the waterparks. If you want to do both parks in one day (which is possible, although I've always had more than enough to do at ONE park), leave a lot of time for transportation.Quote:

Seriously, if you want a real adventure and don't mind getting a little cool, try the Shark Tank at Typhoon Lagoon. If you just want to relax, use the Lazy River.
