We'll be back at the Yacht Club in August. It's been a while since we've stayed there, and Im curious as to transportation to Epcot. Also, what are some of your favorite things to do and see there? We are really looking forward to the pool area, and enjoying the Boardwalk. It looks like the rooms may have been updated since our last visit. Thanks!
When we stay at the Yacht and Beach Club we generally walk or take the boat to Epcot. It is a really easy walk. We like to wander the Boardwalk. In Epcot we love to explore the countries and talk to the cast members. Depending on when in August you will be there the Food & Wine Festival may be going on. Always fun to try different foods
One thing that's been added at the Yacht Club in the last few years is the Market at Ale and Compass, a fast food place. It's similar to Beach Club Marketplace, but IMO, so much better. It's a combination gift shop, grab and go, and hot offerings. When I stay at BCV, I go over there often.
Oh great! We stayed there several years ago and I remember having to walk over to BC to get breakfast. That should be so much more convenient!Quote:

It’s a short walk to the Epcot world showcase gate. The boat ride takes a bit to go back and forth because of all the stops. The Boardwalk is nice, especially in the afternoon it’ll be very quiet. It’s more busy in the evening and nights, especially the weekends. Love the pool at yacht & beach club. Also love the restaurants. Compass & ale on the yacht side is much nicer than what beach club has now including freestyle machines
