We will be registering for a Disney 10K and want to know what is the difference between making room/park reservations between rundisney and magical journeys? We have a big group and want (of course) the most economical route with the best deals. Doubt they will be offering free dining, but figured for runners you may get a deal on room & park tickets. Hope Pop Century is a host resort!

Which 10K are you registering for? Princess? Generally all the resorts are host resorts for Princess and Marathon weekend though I supposed they could change it.
I always book through Wendy at Magical Journeys. I used her for a long time. We usually book early at the rack rate and then she adjusts my reservations as discounts come out.
