Oh frabjous day!
Stich's last day is October 1st. Happy birthday to me! (And to MK and to Epcot)
Since they're saying "seasonal", I suspect it'll re-open for the holidays.

A change here would be welcome.
Some new life in Tomorrowland would be a welcome change. It's not a big footprint so it should be interesting to see what they come up with. Some other sort of show based experience?
I am usually disappointed or saddened when an attraction leaves the World....not this time
Hooray!!
If they are planning a relatively quick turnaround for a new attraction there, then I'm thinking they'll use the same circular theater building and ride machinery (moving and shaking seats), which have been constant there throughout this location's iterations. Mission to Mars, Alien Encounter, and Stitch's Great Escape, have all used the same basic set with different overlays. Any rumors on what might be next?
I find this disappointing only because it means another attraction not open and longer lines else where. Also if they use the same basic set up it doesn't matter who they put in the tube it is still the same old same old. Wishing for a real change.
We went on it during the soft opening and it was a lot better than when we went on it later. They really made it too tame to even entertain the little ones (at least in my family). Similarly, Mission Space was a much more intense experience during the soft opening than it has ended up being. Sometimes Imagineering ends up tweaking an attraction into irrelevance.
Not that Stitch was ever the most fantastic idea, but I feel it fits Tomorrowland way better than the Laugh Floor does.
I'd rather them sell opportunities to take a swing at the ride with a sledgehammer.
Still, good news.
I won't miss it. In fact, I only experienced it once and that was enough for me.
