The dolls just made me book another trip to WDW in Dec. of 2000. Polynesian Concierge. Really I just got it-Woo Hoo! Don't know why but I booked an extra large room for all the little people who will be travelling with me.
Hubby doesn't know yet-dolls said not to tell him until later when I need the money. It's not lying or anything-just a little secret! right???

Okay - my first trip to IASW @ WDW in OCt (although I did it at DL in 1975). All that I could think of when I saw the penguins (I think thats what they were) in the balloon towards the end of the ride with the Help sign was Jimmy & TT5.

If I had developed my pictures & been timely in Oct I probably would have posted this back then.

But maybe....it was the evil dolls trying to draw me into their world by putting thoughts of Jimmy & TT5 into my head. D'ya think????

Assuming that the dolls don't have a very good grasp on "reading between the lines", I guess this will be a safe way to fill you in. I have to avoid tunnels enroute because of the propane tanks on the trailer. Rather than go under bodies of water, I have to use bridges. The horizons you see from the bridges are really pretty. I can see the building where I work.

My trip reports will be posted as soon as I get back. In them, I will indicate what's open and what's not. We plan to do a lot. The family is getting anxious. We hope the weather is not bad enough to sabotage the trip. We'll photograph any demolition work that's underway. And we will take over ten rolls of film for building our collection. We want to create lasting memories, and maybe even take pictures of IASW during our Y2K trip.

I think there has been a doll incident here in Atlanta. I did not get any e-mail from last night at 10 pm until this morning at 10am. (Usual volume about 60 a night.) Something is wrong they are tampering with the e-mail system to keep us from communicating properly.

An extremely short guy in a green tee-shirt, droopy jeans, and tiny brown work boots jumped out of the truck, bent over, flashed a half-moon, hooked a hose up to my septic tank over-flow valve, turned on the big pump, then kicked back in a lawn chair with a can of Kilkenny beer. Slightly ill, I retreated to the house, only be haunted by a weird feeling of being "observed". Finally he finished, jumped back in his truck, and roared out of sight. The plumbing is working better now, but why are my lights flickering, and why is the t.v. and c.d. player going off and on... off and on... off and on.... and most importantly, why is there a trail of pixie stix powder leading to the basement door??? http://www.intercot.com/boards/eek.gif

Okay...Now this first part of the translation worries me. The mention of children and boxes seems to imply the "packing up" of Horizons and creation of something new by the doll beings. I just got back with Jeff.
We had a wonderful time at Epcot listening to the British Invasion (we just missed the 1st show, but caught the rest), Mo-Rockin' and Nova Era (Italy). Between shows, though, we checked out Future World where Jeff took a long hard look at the old Horizons building as if studying it. I managed to drag him away to enjoy more music, food, parades, shows, and Illuminations. This kept him pretty distracted.
Saturday, Jeff got to meet Claudia Christian (Babylon 5), and she signed one of her Playboy pics for him. At this point, all he could think about is Claudia, Claudia, Claudia http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif
Sunday, Jeff got autographs from the Ferengi Family (Max and Leeta, Rom and Moogy), and Tucker Smallwood (Space Above and Beyond, and B5 and Star Trek)
So far I have managed to keep Jeff out of the attic by waving the Playboy that Claudia signed in front of him.
I can hear chants from the little dolls in the attic. I'm not sure if they are actually chanting or if it's just in my head, pray for me.

Auuuuuuggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!! The sound won't leave! The song keeps playing in my head over and over and over and over and over. I have a sudden urge to wear roller skates with big white tube socks that have giant stripes on them. Of course they'll be pulled up to my knees. And I can't forget my Mr. Microphone. The evil dolls have been temporarily repelled. Minor glitter damage has been reported in some areas, but the silly string cleanup has begun.

There have been isolated reports of blindness due to severe light reflection but it is the opinion of area leaders that these have been greatly exaggerated.
