I've posted my suspicion earlier today in TiJaMom's vacation planning report that I suspect JimmyC is ACTUALLY a IASW doll trying to throw suspicion away from himself. Why else would he constantly pretend to be battling the dolls? So, which doll do you think he might be??? My guess: he's really one of the Can-can dancers! http://www.intercot.com/boards/biggrin.gif

He's the one in the hot air balloon holding the "Help" sign... another transparent attempt to direct suspicion away from himself.

I really like the "can-can" answer...

Although he could be one of the hula girls (can't you just see him in a grass skirt?)

Or, he could be the billy goat who runs up the mountain in the alps!! baaa!

(You know, Beth, I do remembering spotting a Hula Dancer with hairy legs and a grimace on her face! Come to think of it, her wig was a little lopsided too!)

Ozarker,,,,,
I thought you were a friend, but it is quite obvious that the dolls have gotten to you.... http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif In fact, it is YOU who is distracting people from the true nature of the evil dolls by causing disunity.

I am not a doll. I am closer in appearance to the Norway trolls. In fact, there's a big wooden likeness of me in one of the Norway shops.

I am in constant battle with the evil dolls due to my knowledge of their evil intent. That, or the doctors keep upping the voltage. Naaah...
Better yet, I'm looking for ANY excuse to not have to ride this **** ride on our next visit! Sadly, my wife like it, and since I'd do anything for her, yes, even ride this evil ride, you will hear my screams in October....

Just trying to dig to the bottom of this IASW controversy. I just think it's "interesting" that two grown(?) men have such an adversion to a building full of "innocent" dancing dolls with perpetual grinning faces. I suspect that you both are secret doll collectors, and that your houses are full of IASW look-a-likes, and that every evening you dress up like your favorite doll and dance around your living room singing "It's a small world after all.."

In the immortal words... "Methinks thou protest too much..."

I only make people nervous who have something to hide.....

Actually, I'm one of the bigger trolls... http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

Just returned from 'Battle for Dolly Hill'. Me and the squirrels took heavy casualties. No deaths, just freaked out squirrels. I think TiggTigg5 had the right idea about something being hidden in the music. It drove the squirrels and chipmunks into a killing frenzy. I tried the ear plugs as TiJaMom suggested. Worked for a while, but the sappy music eventually resulted in a mass retreat. In the end, we lost the hill and the dolls quickly replaced their numbers with dolls from the Mexico ride (El Teimpo? forget how to spell it). http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif. Also unable to rescue the clown with the HELP sign. http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif
Managed to avoid piranhas and booby traps in the water, but 2 of the dolls weren't so lucky, heheheha.
Ozarker, you hit the nail right on the head:
"a building full of "innocent" dancing dolls with perpetual grinning faces" Think of the Twilight Zone were the cute little doll looked at the guy and said in a cute voice " I'm _____(forget the name of the doll) and I'm going to killllll youuuuu".
Have to go listen to Yoko Ono wail for a while until that sappy IASW song is a distant murmur.

She's close, but is not aware of our true intentions.......and the secret shall be kept since I think the dolls might originate from the Ozarks. In 1987 my car broke down in Rolla. The people were real friendly and had perpetual grins on their faces. Come to think of it, the steak tasted a little bit too good.....
She is dead-wrong about dancing around. I do not dance. I even have a contract with my wife to avoid Ballroom dancing. I don't have to take lessons till I'm at least 47 (10 years left). It was at 50, but major screw-ups cost me. http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

That's it!! It's all coming back to me now! Your "breakdown in Rolla" comment brought it all back. Quick research into local newspapers uncovered this long forgotten story...

ABANDONED CAR FOUND -- KIDNAPPED DOLLS
RECOVERED!

According to the paper, a shipment of pre-programed animatronic dancing dolls had been reported hijacked while enroute to an unnamed theme park located in the state of Florida. A spokesperson from the unnamed theme park was quoted as saying "only a sick, sick mind could be responsible for planning this heist." To gain access to the highly secured transportation vehicle, the perpetrator of this heinous crime had to wade through a moat-like lagoon containing potentially harmful factory waste, scale a 30 foot barbed-wire fence, crawl through the building's ventilation system, and then slip into the garage area. It is suspected the culprit strapped himself to the vehicle's undercarraige and then rode 100 miles until the driver stopped at a Dunkin Do-nut Shop to take a break.
When asked what the possible motive for kidnapping these innocent, perpetually grinning dolls could have been, the spokesman answered, "We suspect the thief's goal was possibly a terrorist plot aimed at reprogramming the dolls in an effort to take over the ride. A box of computer chips was found inside the trunk of the abandoned vehicle with the dolls. When we experimentally implanted one, the dolls eyes began to flash, it bared its teeth, and it started to chant "ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall... If this abandoned vehicle hadn't been found, it could have meant the disastrous end of a much loved theme park institution."

Now it all makes sense.....

The adult dolls are in the back, washing and ironing all those tiny little outfits.

As for fluffy-cute...whatever... I can't help it. I went into my daughter's room last night and was caught in a beanie baby explosion... I tried to warn her "One more beanie baby, young lady, and this room's going to explode!" But she wouldn't listen either (it runs in the family).

So, I have you to blame for the zillion beanie bears... and probably the beanie explosion the other day too...

Speaking of Gremlins (I used to drive one in high school! ha), my daughter has a Furby. It started whining the other day, so she runs and gets a new package of batterys. As I replace the last battery and click the cover closed, he suddenly says "Ohhh, I was scared! I was worried." I looked at my husband and I said, "Now I'm worried!" Think Disney might ever market IASW interactive dolls sometime???

I managed to hack into the dolls programming, now whenever I have to sail in "Das Boot" I set them to operate at 10x speed. It's almost fun, now!
Strangely, though, at 10x speed, the chorus (IaSWaa...) sounds like "Send us Jim, send us Jim...".

JimmyC, I've consulted my crystal ball on your question:

You've got it all wrong... the dolls aren't really against you... they want to be like you!!! They're tired of constantly dancing, and their perpetual smiles are glued into place, so what choice do they have??? They're crying for freedom!! Escape from their imprisonment... Freedom to choose their own clothing, freedom to choose their own MUSIC!! Freedom to be cranky once in a while. They recognize you as the perfect example of imperfection. They're calling for you, hoping you can lead them in revolution. The cry for beannie weannies and bourbon is their order for the victory celebration. They WANT you JimmyC, they NEED you JimmyC, they can't do it without you JimmyC!!! You're their last hope!!

Oh sure, they want me,,,,, to thwart their evil plans.
See, I captured one of those little cherub-faced critters last night (It didn't count on my flaming flatulance http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif). They want to imprison me near the center of the ride and use me as a human shield. Well, the evil ones have failed. http://www.intercot.com/boards/biggrin.gif

Now there's another idea...
Why not redo IASW to a totally new theme, and call it IANW - - It's A Nasty World. All of the dolls would be shabbily dressed, covered with tattoos and body-piercings, scowling, snarling, making obscene gestures, calling riders every name in the book, all the while swigging away on Jim Beam, smoking funny-looking little cigarettes, burping, flatulating (is that a word ?) and spitting, with a Marilyn Manson soundtrack. Gee, all's quiet on the front.......
http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif Very, very, strange. Has the entire offensive line been captured????

Has the IASW army taken control??? Are JimmyC, TiggTigg5, and Typhoon shackled in the doll's dungeon and left to rot with the rats??? Is this the end of the story, or will the green plastic soldiers escape imminent torture and starvation, and regroup for another exciting adventure???

(come on guys, the blade of my sharp as a knife wit is getting rusty!)

Just finished an all night meeting with the squirrels and chipmunks. For the price of 1 ton of sunflower seeds they've agreed to center their attack on IASW and leave all Intercot people alone. The chipmunks were holding out for a keg of beer, but I refuse to buy for minors.

Now to figure out how to get 1 ton of seed......

Human Sacrifice huh, boy are they in for a surprise. I have a mini-nuke implanted and it's set to go off if my heart stops, limbs severed, or skin temp exceeds 1st degree burns.

But they have to capture me first......

Didn't have to negotiate with the birds since they are doing merc work for the Squirrels and Chipmunks. That's probably why they asked for a ton of seed.

BTW, the evil dolls tried to plant a germ warfare device in our fridge. That, or I found the open pack of hotdogs missing from last year.....

Well, this official word from the Goddess:

I've been approached by an ambassador from IASW. They've requested that JimmyC meet with their leader for negotiations. These are the terms they've set out for the meeting:

1. JimmyC must come alone and
submit to a weapons search.

2. The meeting must be held in
neutral territory - A table
next to the China puppet stand
in Epcot.

I told the doll ambassador that I wasn't sure JimmyC would agree....

If you chant that at the IASW meeting at the China Puppet stand then you may put them into some sort of trance and be able to abolish them forever!!! Jeff Handshaw 100+visits has it right, but Disneygurll gets a special thanks for being the only female I know who actually watched the Holy Grail (My wife won't even watch it).

I love that movie..... http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

Beth, I am begining to think you are falling under their control. I hope your husband knows the Duffworld chant, I have a feeling he's going to have to endure IASW in October with the rest of us (See Theory below)

OK here's my theory for IASW brain control:
Kids are immune to IASW. They can ride this till Heck freezes over without damage.
Women, with some exceptions, are immune to IASW.
Men who are accompanying a child are only semi-immune. The child emits a temporary force-field that protects them for the begining part of the ride. This is why they can go on the ride and are fine for the begining, but tend to loose their minds towards the end.
Men with girlfriend-only are not immune. They will endure the torture to impress the girl. Sadly, the female force-field will not protect the male. Humming Duffworld song is a semi-useful chant.
Men being dragged on this ride with wife-only are entering a House of Horrors. Added note: Teenage males are under the same mind-altering torture. You won't catch a teenage male on this ride unless mom/dad makes them.

So PLEASE do not make your husbands and teenagers ride this ride without a child emitting a force field! Just as you choose to sit-out the Rollercoasters, please let us sit out this mind-warping-destructive ride.

We do not want the dolls to get us..... http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

We at 3 pages yet?

Perhaps women who force their husbands on IASW without the protection of a child WANT the dolls to "get" him... http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

Good theory, JimmyC, but what about the few men who go on this ride ALONE??? What are they?? Brave adventurers or phycos intent on self-torture??

As for sitting out roller coasters-- Rockin Roller Coaster was my favorite!

(So, after you've been on this ride without the protection of a child, what then??? What steps must you take to purge the evil from your system?? Inquiring minds want to know. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif )

JimmyC
09-07-1999, 03:25 PM
Those solo men are not real. They are robots. They are sent as decoys to try and make other men 'think' it's ok to go on this without child-protective force fields.

I also agree there are women who want the dolls to get their husbands/boyfriends/brothers.

In fact, I think my wife is coming under their spell. She did a real mean thing to me Sunday. She said "If you really don't want to go in IASW, I won't make you buuuuuutttt (upto the but, I was so excited, I almost wet my pants) it really woundn't be a Disney vacation w/o going on this ride" She then proceeded to hum the IASW song. My dog fled up the trail.

As for an antidote to combat the evil spell, still working on it. That's why I have some dolls frozen in our freezer.
A co-worker was forced on that ride. He was never the same since. Maybe it was a good thing he 'fell' down that elevator shaft (Wonder who removed that repair sign...)

I think Eeyore didn't have his headset on and caught a 2 second soundbite.

OK,OK, Eeyore, listen to me closely.....
Walk AWAY from the light. It is a trick. It's the sparkly stuff the dolls use on their clothing to lure vicitms.
Walk towards the flames. It is the result of Coleman fuel on the dolls.

Eeyore, excellent portrayal of character (Nooo body loves me... Nooo body cares....) How old are you?? (people years, not donkey years).

JimmyC- Actually hubby's bumper sticker says "If you can't keep up with the BIG DOGS, stay on the porch". I'll suggest the "I don't brake for IASW dolls" idea, though. Don't think he can fully appreciate it though, cause he's never been to WDW (gasp!) with me! I leave him at home cause he whines when he has to stand in line, and since he works outside all summer, for some reason the idea of a swealtering hot vacation crowded with people doesn't appeal to him very much. (???? figure that ????) Also, since he races every Sat. night during the summer, he's pretty hard to plan around.
Actually, our 8 year old daughter, the roller coaster/fast ride nut, seems to have inherited his love of speed. I'm kind of worried. Took her to the local go-cart track this summer. She's always rode with Dad in the 2 seaters in summers past, and GUESS WHAT, her head met the "you have to be this tall to drive by yourself" line this year. So, she gets in a go-cart by herself, her dad and his racing buddy get in carts too, and they're off. For her first ever time driving by herself, she jumps in, floors it, and zooms past her dad and his buddy. She's so light weight, she can fly, and she does. So, dad & friend try to catch up and pass her, and dad bumps her a little. When they go by, I yell, "Be careful with her!", and about two seconds later as he gains on her, she cuts her wheel and slams good ole dad into the rail so he can't pass her. Then the race is really on. Everytime dad and friend get close, Bri slams them into the rail. They finally get off, Bri is laughing her head off, and dad's buddy looks at me, shakes his head and says "She's vicious!!"
Pity me in about 8 more years!!!

So, JimmyC (assuming you've read my post about the time Bri was a dancing doll), if the real dolls are ANYTHING like my REAL IASW dancing doll, maybe you have a point! http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

JimmyC

Man, I woulda loved to have seen that! http://www.intercot.com/boards/biggrin.gif

Actually, your daughter is responding to troll training. Little did you know that when she had her picture taken with me at Norway, I mind-transplanted many-many ideas into her head http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif.

When your husband 'bumped' her car, even a little bit, it sets off the BERSERKER defense. Whatever is done to her, is paid back tenfold.

We trolls are working on a squirrel/chipmunk prototype with limited success. If attacked by one evil-doll, they chew up 10. Unfortuneately, they often wear out a pair of incisors chewing them up, so I have TiggTigg5 developing Stainless Steel implants.

Beth- I would bet you could. JimmyC would probably give them out as Christmas presents. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

JimmyC, I guess that explains why Bri chased the cat around the house this weekend with her rubber dart gun! (she kept yelling, "wait Pumpkin, I've got a bullet for you!" - no joke, much to the amusement of the friends at our house. Anyone ever wonder why they always act that way in front of guests??) And I guess it also explains the attitude she's had since we got back from vacation (I THOUGHT it was because she spent a week with her 14 year old cousin!)

Let this be a warning to all who read, "DON'T HAVE YOUR KID POSE WITH THE TROLL!!"

JimmyC, Thanks for the tip... I'll keep an eye on our electronic equipment. Actually, anything's possible, cause we just found out the school is skipping her from the high 2nd grade reading group (last year) up to high 4th grade reading group this year (What happened to 3rd grade?? I haven't a clue. Somehow she seems to have surpassed it.), so I suspect she has the brains for putting that laser together. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif (somehow, I'm sure you'll find a way to take credit for that too! http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif ) Just how many kids have become members of your army now????

JimmyC
09-08-1999, 02:16 PM
Actually, the kid army forces are very limited. Besides having the force-field to protect them, kids just don't listen well to orders.
The Troll-transference is more of a training tool for when they get older. http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

Besides, I prefer training the animals. They listen well, infiltrate most places, work for nuts and seeds, and poop outdoors.

Main disadvantage is getting the miniaturized weapons to pack the same punch. That's why explosives are great for this battle. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

I think Discovery Island was really closed to be a residence for retirement of IASW dolls in their senior years. Hmmm. Imagine an aged Can Can dancer and Eskimo boy scuttling along the paths of Discovery Island in their motorized wheelchairs. No wonder there is no wildlife over there anymore. What a joy it is to read this post first thing in the morning!! Always brightens up the day (I'm NOT a morning girl), kinda like caffeine. I always "slip" over here first thing in the morning after checking my e-mail. I sit and giggle, reading the new posts, and my co-workers look at each other, roll their eyes, and think I'm nuts (again).

For anyone who missed dpamac's hilarious jingle over in Topics and Tidbits "Almost 300" post, scoot over there and read it - pronto. It's a hoot.

Disneygurll's post about Discovery Island made my giggle turn into an out-loud laugh (more "looks" from my co-workers). I'm wondering if the reason the music is so loud is because they're all hard of hearing (perhaps WDW should invest in some tiny hearing aids). Also, after checking into this, I discovered they prefer their food "pureed" - JimmyC, you'd better steer clear of anything that looks suspiciously like a giant food processor! And while you're hooking up that generator, better check out the temp. on your hot water heater! You don't want to "boil" the next time you decide to take a "relaxing" bath.

It's called tension relief http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif. We wait on a lot of red-necks around here!! We have a sign in our breakroom that says "Too bad stupid doesn't hurt!" If someone particularly annoying calls or comes in, we look at each other, hold our forehead and say "Ouch! That has to hurt!" One of my favorite tactics when dealing with the "cranially challenged" is to listen intently to their problem/complaint/whatever, nodding attentively every so often, and when they are done, ask them "Pardon me, sir/maam - - tell me this; do you walk to work or carry your lunch ?" It usually takes about two minutes before they can gather their thoughts again...

TiggTigg5, Daa... What??

Ever had anyone ask if they could "fax you a check?"

My favorite mind-numb-er starts like this: the phone rings, you answer it, the voice on the other end says "Ahhh, I got this "thing" in the mail...."

JimmyC- I have a cut-out Dilbert cartoon next to my computer - it's the one where he has a little "boss" look-a-like doll sitting on his computer, the boss says "Hey that looks like me", and Dilbert says "It gives me an emotional lift to have your likeness nearby", so the boss leaves thinking "I never realized what he thought of me", and Dilbert whacks the doll and says "Stop dropping in like that!" http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

IMHO, I really think that Page 1 was a classic. When the next generation of discussion boarders look back on page 1, I feel that they will also believe it to be such! I believe that the producers of page 1 are favored to receive a nominated for the prestigious "Conversy" award, and the iaswaa soundtrack is a lock for the "Insany" award. If they win it will have been well deserved!

IMHO, Page 2 was a sequel worthy of the original. The producers really outdid themselves in creating a page that creatively advanced the story, developed the characters and kept the audience on the edge of their computer chairs. In fact, most felt that it was the most exciting page of the whole series. The special effects were marvelous, yet didn't distract from the story, and the iasmaa soundtrack was to die for. In conclusion, Page 2 was well worth the money of admission.

IMHO, Page 3, unfortunately was a sorry excuse for a sequel. It looked and felt rushed. After a suspensful start, the story simply went out the window. It seemed like some cheaply made "B" page, that was only made for the money. Where were the dolls? The only bright part of the page, was again, the iaswaa soundtrack. You know, I just can't get the tune out of my head, no...really. This page really should never have been made.

IMHO, Page 4 is still in production, and I personally hope that the producers do their best to make up for Page 3. Remember, don't forget the dolls, don't forget the dolls, don't forget the dolls. With the right writers, this page could be more popular than...Page 2!

Just got back from a geekxxxx Star Trek convention here in SW FL, featuring Chekov and Martok and Brinke Stevens. I'm glad Chekov got time off from the Enterprise to be here. It's even more hard to believe that Chancellor Martok took time off from being the leader of the Klingons to come all the way to Earth to be here, too. I got their autographs, too...strangely their handwriting is so messy, you'd swear they signed someone else's name?!?
I'm glad the dolls let me go.

DEFCON 4 NOW !!!!!!!!!
All rodents return to base!
All Weapons released for defensive actions!

After rigging the discombobulator with a dimond drill, I was able to extract the Guinness from each bottle. In my rush, I failed to notice the added flavor of knock-out drops until it was too late. When I awoke, I was strapped to a rack, dressed in lederhosen and a grass skirt. Over in the corner was my pointy-haired boss accepting his bribe fron the evil dolls. I endured 10 minutes of a special IASW pagent. At this point, I Hulked out. Once free, I released one vile cloud of flaming flatuence, wiping out most of the demon dolls. Sadly, the grass skirt was flammable, so I had no choice but to jump in the moat. The piranhas appearently were not hungry, full from eating my truely 'Late-Boss' (told'm not to trust the dolls). I managed to make it back to base with the help of my trusty golden retriever. He had fun thinking the dolls were squeaky toys. They did squeak all right. Once per doll.
Sunday was spent horking up the nasty moat water and talking to various hallucinogenic apparitions.

The dolls are getting a bit nastier.

Eeyore, good work on that tune! It will be the song we sing going into battle! http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

TiggTigg5- I saw your explaination of IASW dolls on another forum "alien midgets". I like it!! (The girl at the next desk collects those little Toy Story aliens (one sits on top of her computer).

Another co-worker returned today from 2 weeks in Hawaii. She's brown and relaxed -- my desk was invaded and trashed by IASW dolls on Friday when I was out, so I'm a wreck! (Sorry, JimmyC, she couldn't find a grass skirt big enough for you! http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif She did bring us macadamia nuts though. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif )

Opened my door Saturday at home and there were 2 black cats in my garage (I have ONE black cat and 1 white cat). The 2nd black cat was obviously a stray and starving. So, being a good samaritan, I feed it an let it stay. Of course, Bri falls in love with him cause he's really sweet, so I say she can keep him. I take him to the vet today to be checked out, and the vet just calls and says they're going to test him cause he might have a fatal cat disease that is very contagious!!! ahhh!!!

Sounds like you had a "fun" weekend - - NOT ! http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

We really feared that you had been carried off by the evil dolls Friday - your absence was definitely noticed!

Don't mean to sound cold, but I've always told my wife that if/when our dog ever goes to that Great Fire Hydrant In The Sky, I want out next dog to be an inflatable; that way, when you travel you just let the air out, pack it in your suitcase and go. Whe you get where you're going, unpack it, blow it up (No, not *that* kind of "blow it up", JimmyC http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif ) pat it on the head, sit it in the corner, and simply leave it there all day. Never have to feed it, don't have to worry about it, shall we say, soiling the carpeting, don't have to walk it, etc. For even more fun, inflate it with helium. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

Hope things work out okay for your adopted puddy-tat!

It's nice to be missed ... sniff... sniff... so heartwarming (if this topic (IASW) can in any way be called that http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif )

My biggest fear at this time is for my 2 healthy cats. I would hate to think something bad would happen to them cause I took in a stray. (especially since they're so good at stalking and catching small creatures (dolls???) that try to sneak into our house. Still waiting to hear from vet, trying to think positive!

Sorry to hear about the cats http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif. Hopefully everything will turn out ok.

Ali's Mom, everything would be fine if the dolls would meet the following demands:
1) Remove all sparkly clothing to be replaced by potato sacks.
2) Wear Chewbaca masks forever.
3) Never sing that sappy-sugary song again.
4) Be relocated to the country of origin. US dolls will be relocated to Three Mile Island.
5) Not be allowed to multiply
6) Removal of all brain implants from their victims. (Those things keep messing up my radio stations)

The dolls have until Midnight, or the squirrels will begin offensive operations. I know it's short notice, but they messed with my beer. No Mercy.

That is all. http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

Should we be worried about the little dolls at El Rio Del Tiempo? Will flaming flatulence(-as you so aptly put it JimmyC)bring these dolls to submission? Or are they invincible because they are used to that kind of warfare due to the fact there are a lot of people eating refried beans at the restaurant nearby?

Excellent point Disneygurll (aren't we women clever??? http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif ) I think JimmyC should BE AFRAID because I know for a fact that ride is closed for refurb. (or it was when I was there 1st week Aug.), so I'm WONDERING what has happened to those dolls???? I'd resist the urge for tacos to go with your beer if it suddenly hits ya, JimmyC!

TiggTigg5 - was only slightly disappointed to find out how you knew the date of Beth's anniversary (do you ever forget anything you read???). I still think you're a spy (or at least have a photographic memory). Tell me if I'm close.... I have you pictured as a cross between Harrison Ford and Henry Fonda (before he died http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif but NOT JUST before, you know, a while back... (have I dug myself out yet?? http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif ). (Kinda gruff/dashing/wise)

I'm still working on my mental picture of JimmyC.....

Midnight has come and gone, and no word from the evil-dolls.
TiggTigg5, prep your A-10.
Typhoon, I want a lot of smoke on target (just kidding, thought I was a tank commander for a second http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif) As soon as recon is finished, draw up a fire plan to include everything, upto and including chemical weapons.
Jeff, get that Tinkerbell outfit dry-cleaned, you'll be leading the air assult forces.
Eeyore, I consider you a valuable member of the team. You will be in charge of Logistics. You will keep supply lines open and the flow of ammo, food, and beer going to the troops. You will work out of Splash Mountain. Since you are underaged, I have arranged a special shipment from Apu at Kwikimart for Green Squishy syrup, straight.
PHASE 1 RECON
Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers have been re-assigned to Chip and Dales Marine RECON. They will infiltrate IASW, recon the sparkly-outfit rooms, barracks, transports, and other main targets. If opportunity allows, they will plant various signaling devices, booby-traps, and monitoring systems.
Once they return, TiggTigg5 and Typhoon coordinate your attacks. Make sure to inform Jeff when the fires will shift for him to lead the Air Assult in. Don't need any toasted wings. Eeyore, keep all routes open and ride Splash Mtn. many times to distract the dolls.

That is all for now. Good Luck.

Typhoon's shifted fires and Jeff's team is going in! GREAT JOB of including DP with the VT!!!
WOW LOOK AT THAT! The evil dolls think Jeff's one of them and is giving the Air Assult force clearence all the way in!!!

Eyore, good job on keeping the ammo flowing!

Squirrels are in! Chip and Dales becons worked great. Boy, who woulda thought that those sparkly costumes would be that flammable! Some dolls are surrendering enmass!!! Whhhoooooohoohoooo, ZAP, ouch, that hurt. One of the evil dolls was in the tree with a dart gun. I feel soooo sleeeepy.
Eeyore JOLT COLA ASAP!!!
Ummmmmmm that works.

TiggTigg5, good job of taking out the MEGA-DOLL! How did you know it was disguised as a giant Richard Simmons doll?

Will the dolls counter attack and drive the Rebel forces back again??? Will JimmyC win a medal of (?)honor(?) for his (?)heroic(?) efforts?? Will TiggTigg5 settle back into partial retirement, or will he choose to lend his level-headed-support to the cause for life?? Are Typhoon and Jeff M.I.A., or will they crawl out of the jumgle, alive... but mentally scarred by the horrors they've seen??? Will Eeyore stand a chance of reaching a normal adulthood, or has JimmyC's weirdness rubbed off???

Wormy ??? JimmyC ??? Nah, I'm going to resist the evil forces and not go there...

The evil dolls counterattacked by firing Mickey Bars at the Warthog, so the turbines are a little dirty and clogged with melted chocolate, and part of Jeff's Tinkerbell costume is stuck to the vertical stabilizer (the polyester melted over the Continental logo), but I made it back to the BatCave relatively unscathed.

It was a proud moment indeed! Never had a cat named after me.

As the smoke/gas clears from the battlefield, much carnage can be seen. Doll parts litter the area, meg-doll smoulders, and singed squirrels and chipmunks clammer for Bactine.
We are using the trolls and bears butts to light the way for our reserve forces and mop-up operations. Guess I shouda limited it to Beanie Weinies and Bourbon only.

Casualties:
1,000,000,000,001 evil dolls destroyed/wounded.
250 squirrels wounded, 10 due to Friendly Fire (Stood too close to gas-laden trolls and bears)
150 chipmunks wounded due to lava and dolls.
1 MIA. I am sad to report that the only missing member was Major Eeyore. We told him to dilute the Green Squishies before drinking them. He was last seen terrorizing the Tiki Birds.

No deaths among our troops puzzling?

Well, they were sissy dolls who's only real weapon was that cutesy/sappy song and cherub faces. Simply blasting various rock music and drinking Guinness before the attack helped counter their powers.

The surviving dolls have agreed to all our terms, but do not care for having to wear the Chewbaca Masks. Knowing we have to give something up in return, I will allow them to take the masks off around their homes and children, since children still have that protective forcefield.
Since I do not trust evil dolls, they shall be under UN monitoring. NATO will also be keeping an eye on the situation.

Good work team!

There was one slight problem though......
A group of IASW dolls managed to escape.....
Could they re-build their forces......

Well, just finished cleaning up the Warthog. I couldn't understand the sickeningly-sweet smoke coming from the starboard engine until I found that I had inadvertently sucked one of those dear sweet little dolls into the intake. (Cough, cough - that smoke is stong!) I really feel sorry for the adorable little thing. I've got Mrs. TT5 breaking out the sewing machine to patch up this pitiful casualty of such a senseless slaughter (cough, cough)... I've hired an ambulance company to gather up other casualties and transport them quickly to the doll hospital for treatment; had to give them and the hospital all my credit cards, but, hey, it's for a very noble cause (cough, cough)... Gotta go; this smoke is really powerful!

Before we knew it, Fred and I we in the middle of it. Unfortunately the special heat seeking photon torpedoes promised me by Chekov didn't arrive. Strange, he swore that he'd get them to me, maybe there was something to that weird look he gave me. No, it must have been interference from that ******* Kirk http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

It was a little scary when the main assault hit, knowing we were in the middle of it and all http://www.intercot.com/boards/redface.gif
Special commendations go out to Fred...
Near the end, when our cover was basically blown (I think it was when we deployed the Napalm), I lost concentration and stopped singing the Eeyore song. One of the dolls turned to me and started singing, but just as I fell into it's evil spell, Fred threw himself on the doll crushing it under his 300+ lbs. TiggTigg5 needs assistance regaining his mind back.
Eeyore keeps vanishing, last seen trying to bribe Dumbo into flying him to the Skywalker Ranch.
Jeff and Fred pointed out that the dolls of Mexico are becoming evil.
Typhoon has been reassigned and is now leading Chip and Dales Marine RECON team in search of the escaped evil-dolls.
And, last but not least,Queen Maytag started it, seems to like this topic, and she named a wormy cat after me. Plus, you have to admit, it keeps us limited on bothering others (except for a quote now and then when someone leave themselves open).

I have nothing to add, but would like to ask John if he relized he would be host to a thread that has become a bit of a cult.

Also I wanted to do something significant today like 200!! Maybe page 6???

It also frieghtened me to know that Eeyore knows what green squishy syrup is. http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif (he filled me in)

(Hmmm...I see I've been backed up a couple of notches. Oh well Jeff gets the #200. It was good while it lasted) http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif Eulogy Time http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

"Which Doll" was a good topic... a bit strange, perhaps, but never purposely cruel... Well intended, if a bit side-tracked at times... It lead an exciting life, (sobb, sobb) a long life, (sniff) a life filled with mystery and intrigue... a life not to be forgotten soon...

It had many friends, some silent, some not so quiet.... friends who grew to know it well, and who came to understand each other better through it...

"Which doll" will be sorely missed by all....(except maybe JohnY http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif )

Friends, feel free to add to this eulogy, and to pay your last respects to the brilliant life of "Which doll" ... http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

Glad he woke up, I only had a few shovels of dirt to go http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif, and he has to work this weekend, unless WDW is still destroyed!
He was really happy I fixed his tights http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif
We had a real laugh afterwards, since this is the 3rd time he's risen from the dead just as I was burying him.

Let's hope nobody finds out, but the real reason WDW had to close was because of the doll attack and the devastation we left. The worst being when Fred and I slid down the wire from the castle into the valley of the dolls, our combined weight bent the spire it was attached to.

The reason the other parks had to close, was, frankly, because a few of us got confused (by the music in their heads) and stormed the wrong parks.
One firebombed the poor naked mole rats at the AK http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif
Another is still lost in MGM's HIStheKids, thinking he was hit by a doll shrink ray.
The last one is prisoner of the dolls in Mexico, now...let's pray http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

By the way, we managed to secure some magic spells and potions that the dolls use. Fred found a diary, and I scribbled down some incantations, which were being uttered by the dolls during the battle. I'm a little scared to try them too much. I tried one a little while ago and time seemed to repeat itself (about an hours worth), this must be how they make the ride seem to go on forever http://www.intercot.com/boards/redface.gif

This, my friends is no topic. Nor will the war against those evil little crud muffins ever be over. My friends and companions will be sorry to know, the end of Eeyore will come at the end of this topic, for I will resign from general Eeyore to become lazy once more I have no other online needs to be forfilled I will make my closing statment as the lonsome donkey this " WHAT IS OUR PROBLEM THIS MUST NEVER END LONG LIVE WICH DOLL!!!" And besides I'm still being held captive by those dolls, their getting a bit out of hand. I think there must be a clone of me, I have never talked to Dumbo and I'm sure of that, let me explain, Just before the war I thought " if those dolls can clone sheep than why not donkies... Soon after that the blue prints were done, I had tracers, radar, cameras, the works built in pooh's house". Piglett has called me recently informing me on my whereabouts of the day. He E-mailed me a map of my still locations ( where I had been in a 12 foot radius of any ride) none of them were in fantasy land. JimmyC and Your Majesty Queen Maytag, Piglett is on Kangaroo back heading your way be prepared we're only half done this war. TiggTigg5 the dolls have me in mexico I managed to setup my equipment decently. but its not at its best. We had a major power surge problem in our office that caused about 17 PC's to fry, and 5 to start on fire.

I suspect Binky's Raiders.......

Jeff, I just got the call from AK, the naked mole rats are not too happy, but they will recover. Collateral Damage is to be expected in such violent conflicts. Good job on the spells! Be careful, rumor has it, there is one spell used by the evil dolls that turn normal people into Geko lizards. That's why you see so many running around WDW.

Disneygurll, be carefull with the cardboard tank around the bears and trolls. The Beanie Weanies and Bourbon will take some time to clear their systems. Good idea bringing along LOG. Make sure Cmdr Horke(SP?) still knows how to use it. If not, get the Yak to use it.

We need to reorganize. The dolls have gone underground, literally, and are forming new allies. Thanks to Eeyore and TiggTigg5, the Pooh Tribe is on our side, but we need to keep an eye on the Dwarves. They tunnel. Maybe we can get the Pirates to keep them in line.

I think John's moving us hear was a good idea. We are now a bit more covert. http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

And Queen Maytag can continue her regain her crown!

TT5 - Your post over on Stupid Survey reminded me of my parents. They, too, have a travel trailer (it's pretty cool, has one of those $lide-out thing$). A couple times a year they pack up, stock the frige and head out west with the schnauzer sitting between them. Dad's a retired state trooper (yep! You heard right. I'm a cops kid http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif ), and he thinks he still has to get far away from people to vacation. Mom, however, is getting a little west weary, and I'd love to talk them into trying WDW. Any suggestions?

I don't know exactly how you might talk them into going to WDW but I absolutely guarantee that if they ever try Ft. Wilderness they will become addicts! It's beyond a doubt the **BEST** campground I've ever visited, and I've been in a lot of them from Vermont to Ft. Myers and most points in between. Maybe you'd want to consider giving them a pair of 5-day passes or something for an occasion like a major birthday or anniversary, so they'd almost HAVE to go... Good luck!

Had to stop in for a quick "THANK YOU" for letting us continue our quest to root out evil-dolls.
First, I have some good newsand bad news:
Good:
We found Eeyore.
Bad:
He bazooka barfed a lot of Green Squishy Syrup all over the Austrailian Chipmunks.
Good:
Typhoon located a nest of Binky's Raiders
Bad:
They sang, Typhoon's RECON fell to their knees in pain, demon dolls escaped.

Gotta go, boy is today a Heck of a bad one.

Jeff, any luck in decoding more of the evil-doll spells?

Now back to our story...

A most upsetting occurance at work! We discovered a "peep" hole big enough to stick your hand through in the ceiling of the womens restroom. Everyone else suspects shifty court-ordered community service workers. I, alone, realize the truth. I tried to explain it was really a band of escaped, tunneling, IASW dolls, trying to take ME, the one true Queen, hostage, in an effort to flush out the rebel forces... The other girls just rolled their eyes, and my supervisor asked "how many days until your next vacation?" Now, why would she ask that...

Is there a IASW doll for taking care of accident victims...

The one call a parent HATES to get...

Mom, I just got in a car accident... I think I'm okay (and then we spent 7+hours in the ER room), seems a truck decided in the middle of the freeway to just STOP. Period.
Stop. in the fast lane.... and my daughter
is driving 70 miles an hour BEHIND them and could not stop, well, she did stop, but after her Nissan was UNDER their pickup truck... and the icing on the cake? They got their truck started again (finally) and drove off!!!! And no one thought to get the license plate number of the truck.

She's okay, just a little sore.... okay, a whole lot sore, but physically okay.

so.. which doll is for her?

I think it was one of the evil dolls driving the truck! JimmyC, TiggTigg5, Typhoon, Jeff, Eeyore, retaliation time!!

Your daughter's guardian angel must have already been in place for her to have escaped serious injury. For mom, I prescribe a big fluffy Winne the Pooh to cling to (and cry with relief into)! I'm so glad she's ok. Don't stupid drivers make you want to scream?!

Good to hear your daughter is ok Ali's Mom.

During a very bad ice storm many years ago, my friend did the same thing with his Gremlin into a semi. Though he had bruises on his shoulder from the seatbelt, he would have been killed without it.

Sadly, all IASW dolls that were captured are in a lockdown due to Binky's Raiders trying to tunnel into the POW camp.

I'll send a group of squirrels though to provide extra protection. Jeff can use one of the spells to teleport them. They'll be disguised as regular squirrels hanging out in your trees.

I would have sent some trolls, but who woulda thought that the effects of Beanie Weinies and Bourbon would last this long....

Last winter the squirrel population was so large in the Ozarks and the acorn crop so small, we fed about 2 dozen who had taken up residence in our yard sunflower seeds for several months. I think the squirrel leader camped out in our yard. He was a big, fat, red guy who hogged sunflower seeds and wouldn't run into the trees at the slightest noise like the others. We called him Big Red. Perhaps he's now Major Red, or maybe just Red for short???

The custodian checked out the space over the women's restroom this morning... he couldn't understand what made all those tiny foot prints in the dust... He did report hearing rustling in the walls, and he suspects rats...

IAM, SOOOOOO sorry to hear about your daughter. And am glad to hear she's ok!

That was definitely not an evil doll driving the truck it was a...well, I can't say it because this is a family board and we all had that discussion about what not to say...But you get my drift.

Sounds like you could use a hug from Cuppy though...if I can ever get "my" computer (at home) working on line after the storm problems I will send you a secret Cuppy message guaranteed to make you feel better.

Driving was a nightmare for me last night. I think the dolls prayed to the rain god for Floyd to hit me up here. They all must have been spraying water on the road for hours to get the "lake" that I encountered on the way home quite so deep. But with a little luck and the guardian Cuppy looking over me, I made it home!

Every time I leave my desk and return I find my cat sitting on my chair in front of the computer. I fear she may be negotiating via email with the secret doll base in the now closed Discovery Island. Should I be worried? What would a little white and black cat have to gain from the evil animatronics? Do they have connections to the International fish market or are they harvesting large crops of Catnip all over the island? Hmmm. Better watch the little sneak.

Sorry Iv'e been so long I encountered someone very familiar to me on the way back from school. After about 15 seconds I realized it was ME! I turned and jumed him, I thought I would be able to take him in to the Declonalizer5000 to turn him back to his original form. I picked him up by his elbows and started dragging him. I was nearly home when about 50 dolls attacked me. I had recently veiwed a streetfighter cartoon and I remembered how Ryu could make fireballs. I stood the same way that he had and focused all my energy on my hands and the dolls. My fingers started to tingle like they were falling asleep. A green and blue plasma enery orb was forming between my palms. I started to feel woozy so I released the orb, big as four heads mushed together, and it split to little orbs blasting all the dolls into oblivious catron matter (O.C.M.), wich is what all the dolls are basicly made of. I picked up my clone again and moved quickly. IF YOU SEE EEYORE SOMEWHERE ON THE BATTLE FIELDS PLEASE RADIO HIM TO MAKE SURE IT IS THE REAL ONE, THERE COULD BE MORE. Alright that was my report.

Been on vacation at WDW this weekend. You can check it out at: http://www.naples.net/~nfn09449/99bd.html
Glad Eeyore was rescued.
Sorry about the "real" accident, glad everyone is ok.

Unfortunately I have to report that after visiting IaSW on Saturday morning with my daughter and brother, we found it re-stocked with dolls?!? Is this more of the evil doll-magic that Fred and I witnessed during the siege or some more of that Disney Magic that we've heard so much of?
To cover up their return from the dead, they used their magic to make me sleep. Despite my eyelids being extremely heavy, I still witnessed the horror!

Unrelated and sane...Hurricane Floyd apparently pushed off the soft opening of some of the millenium stuff at EPCOT from 9/19 to 9/25.

Disneygurll- I think your cat is keeping up with the exploits of my cat JimmyC, who by the way is back home after his surgery, doing great, bound and determined to remain a house cat!

WHERE IS TIGGTIGG5???????

WHERE IS JIMMYC??????????

Disneygurll, not to worry, your cat is on assignment to find the rats that allied with Binky's Raiders. For every rat she dispatches, she gets a special IASW Catnip toy. It might squeak once,,,,, http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif

Jeff, CUTE kid! So, the dolls are using the sleeping spell again. Your daughter's force-field should have protected you, but if Uncle Norm was along, there might not have been enough power for two adult males.

Right now my biggest worry is the missing subs. Does anyone else think it's a little strange that the boats of AK are also missing?

Could they be prepping for invasion via the 20,000 Lagoon?

I've heard those Hawaiian dolls are really good swimmers...

I'm still worried about TT5. He could have suffocated in the trunk of his car by now. http://www.intercot.com/boards/frown.gif

Maybe I shouldn't have sent him and Typhoon on a beer run so close after the battle.

Especially when they stated that they were REAL thirsty......

Eeyore, sending you the Clone-Be-Gone spray. Just make sure to use it in a well ventilated area and keep it away from flames.
