And how about...

"When you know more about what merchandise a store in the parks carry, than the CM's do! Which actually happened to me today! :D "

or

Here's how I know I've gone over the edge. When I get an hour or two of free time (job done, kids scattered, chores done, DW occupied elsewhere, exercise routine accomplished), it used to be my custom to go see a movie or haunt the aisles of the local electronics mega-store. Now I go to Barnes and Noble, get a cup of Starbuck's coffee, and sink into one of the comfy chairs while taking in all the tiny details of a WDW guidebook.

Yep, I'm hooked and proud of it!

ONE DAY AND COUNTING, YOU MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 'TIP' MONEY IN YOUR POCKETS AT ALL TIMES, YOU ACTUALLY KNOW ROOM NUMBERS AT THE RESORTS AND WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED, YOU HELP OTHERS PLAN THEIR TRIP AND SAVE THEM TIME AND MONEY, YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE RESERVATION INVOICE AT HOME FOR THE COMING YEAR, AND SO ON---DOUG

How about songs from the attractions themselves? For example, I whistle/hum "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" from COP and people can never figure it out.

I've got one...we start planning our next trip as soon as we return home from the current trip! Of course, we go every few months, since we leave somewhat near by. But, the day we return from our trip, we look at the calendar and decide when to go back!

Next trip -- Memorial Day weekend!!

How about:

- Intercot is your home page.

- Everything reminds you of something Disney, even a nasty glance from your boss ("if she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will"), the way the plates on the table are arranged ("looks like a hidden Mickey!"), or the music on the elevator ("gee ... this is the same tempo as Fantasmic").

- When someone asks you that "icebreaker" question, "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?," you always have a quick answer ... and about a hundred or so reasons why!

LOL! I love this subject!!! I think all of us who consider ourselves "regulars" in Intercot are 100 percent guilty of being fanatics!!! That's why we hang around here -- because all of you actually understand WHY I am the way I am!

Here's another:

Almost everything you see and do will somehow, in a sometimes bizzare way, remind you of WDW. :D

I think we are all in good company. graemlins/mickey.gif

4. You know the whole Monorail speil (both english & spainish) by heart.

I have gone above and beyond in this category. My sister and I made shirts that had the english version of the monorail speil on the front (and a picture of the monorail) and the spanish version on the back. We wore them to Disney the last time we went and got a lot of comments from both visitors and cast members.

I'm always saying,"this is so much like Disney World", "doesn't this remind you of Disney World"!

People just look at me, "Carrie, it's just a lamp post, it looks nothing like Disney World"... graemlins/mickey.gif

alittle figment of your imagination
02-22-2003, 09:06 PM
I would add to the list :

" Sometimes, well a lot of times, you freeze a moment and you really feel like you are in Disney but then you drop back to the painful reality...unless you really are in Disney that is graemlins/mickey.gif "

Your goal in life is to have seven children and name them Happy, Sleepy, Doopy, you get the picture.

Your pets are named after the Deluxe Resorts.

You petition Congress to add Walt Disney's birthday as a national holiday.

All hats you wear have Mickey ears on them.

You can name all the countries in World Showcase clockwise and counter clockwise.

You know which order the Presidents speak in Hall of Presidents.

You know where the main entrance to the Utilidors are located.

You can name the year that attractions closed and what, if anything, they were replaced with.

You shed a tear when someone says Horizons.

You have Micheal Eisner on speed dial. Bur he never returns calls.

You call your co-workers cast members.

When you hear the song, "It's a Small World", you think, graemlins/thedolls.gif

You know the flight times of all flights from your home airport to MCO.

You know where to stand to get the best views of all parades and fireworks shows.

You know that Animal Kingdom is the largest park.

You know where all Character Breakfasts are held.

You know if it is quicker to ride a bus, take the monorail, walk, take a boat, or take a taxi from any place at WDW to another. (And you know the best route and time of day to go.)

You know all the e-rides.

You help narrate all behind the scenes tours.

You know who the people are that are listed in the windows on Main Street.

You know where Dole Whips are sold.

You know the series of monorails that are now in use.

You have ridden in the front monorail car so many times the drivers know your name, and you have a co-pilots license.

You can't understand why everyone doesn't love COP.

You know what all the abbreviations mean.

I'll have more in a minute, a Disney commercial just came on TV and I have to record it.

Yeah, I'm guilty to. As a matter of fact, I"m listening to Disney Music right now. At this very moment it's God Help the Outcast. What a good song.

How bout this. The server at Trails End knows my name now. Ha ha!!! He's my favorite server at all of WDW.

I don't know when I'm going to WDW again, cause I sometime just get up and go spontaneously since I live about an 1 and half away. Was just there two weeks ago. As a matter of fact, I'm fixin to live out a dream of mine in 6 days!!!!! I'm going to Disneyland for the first time in my 20 yrs of life.

6 DAYS TILL DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! graemlins/clappy.gif graemlins/mickey.gif graemlins/party.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif graemlins/silly.gif

Last time we went, I wrote a computer program that counted down the 'days til disney' and put it in the startup menu of all my family's computers.

We ordered the DVD and haven't even decided how soon we will go again.

How about,
-You've ever been ushered to the door by a cast member?

That happened to us, because we ended up having to change our 1 year old's diaper and it was fireworks time, and we were all the way back by Thunder Mountain.
We changed the diaper in the closest restroom, and strolled back through adventureland towards the entrance.
I guess they had already cleared out most of that section because we were basically escorted back to main street by a guy carrying one of the hatching dinosaur eggs.
