Hammer- The Solo Tour- Day 6

Last Day http://www.intercot.com/boards/blue.gif

Well the dreaded day had arrived. I was going to need to be heading home. Before I went to bed last night, I had guest services connect me with Mears to schedule a pick up. Was told that a driver would be by at 7:00 pm. So I get up this morning and finish packing up my things and then call bell services to come and pick up my luggage. While waiting, I look over my bill that had been left under my door and noticed a discrepancy. They had charged all my expenditures to one card, though I had given a separate card for my park tickets. So after the bellman took my luggage (did not wait long at all), I went to the front desk. There wasn’t any line, so my problem was fixed quickly and correctly. I was then on my way to the parks.

Decided to go to MGM first, then head to Epcot in the afternoon. I made a PS for Ohana for 5:30 pm before leaving, though. Go down to the bus stop and a bus pulls up for MGM. Get to MGM but not in time for the 9:15 Millionaire show. Get a fast pass for the 11:15 show and head toward NY Street and Muppets. The show was marvelous as usual. Then went to check on the great GMR and there isn’t any wait today, so I head in. I got the cowboy side this time (first time). I think I prefer the gangster side. It’s about 10:00 now and I decide to see if I can walk in for the 10:15 Millionaire show . I was able to get in and I score in the top 10, but no hot seat. Same thing with the 11:15 show. After this show, I head to Mama Melrose’s for lunch. Was able to walk in and be seated at 12:00. I figure I will eat light since I will be eating a big meal at Ohana tonight. I ordered a Diet Coke and the calamari. The calamari were fantastic http://www.intercot.com/boards/tasty.gif! Passed on the desserts and grabbed a Goofy Bar while I went in line for the 1:15 Millionare show. Did really bad this time, so I figure it is time to go to Epcot. I decided when I would take the Friendship to Epcot, even though I know it takes longer. I really like seeing the different hotels! Decide to ride Maelstrom first. The line was about 15 minutes. The construction for the fastpass machines was part of what slowed the boarding process. This ride is nice, but it is too short. Decided I wasn’t in the mood for the Mexican version of IASW, so I planned to head to Future World. I decided before I left, though, that I would try a beaver tail. Boy, those things are good http://www.intercot.com/boards/tasty.gif !! Off Kilter was about to start their set so I sat and watched the show while I ate http://www.intercot.com/boards/tasty.gif!!

After Off Kilter was finished, I headed over to Future World and into innoventions, where I sent e-mail cards to my family and co-workers. Then I walked over the Wonders of Life pavilion. I decided to watch Cranium Command. This was so cute!! By the way, where is the Making of Me shown in there? I couldn’t find any signs for it . Anyway, after that I went on one more ride on TT then headed out to go to the Poly. I was early for my PS, so I checked in and sat down to have a drink in the lounge. I was enjoying another Toucan Tropical when the beeper went off to be seated. Proceeded to get stuffed on appetizers, pork, steak and chicken http://www.intercot.com/boards/tasty.gif !! Then it was time to head on over to WL. I took the monorail to the Contemporary, then picked up the boat to the WL. Van was soon there to pick me up and was on its way to the airport after picking up another family at the Contemporary. Flight home was uneventful and Rapid Rover got me home around 1:00 AM.

Final thoughts to come!

Christine, sounds like a fun-filled last day. Gee, I will probably never go into Millionaire for fear that I would get addicted, too! http://www.intercot.com/boards/wink.gif Sorry you didn't make the Hot Seat. There's always next time, right? http://www.intercot.com/boards/supergrin.gif

As for "Making of Me", it's in the center part of the pavilion in what looks like a tent. It's a very small viewing area with room for about 50 people (there are benches). It's a cute film and definitely worth the time.

Glad you enjoyed 'Ohana. Seems like a lot of people here at Intercot are choosing it for either their first or last dinner at WDW! http://www.intercot.com/boards/tasty.gif

Thanks for another great report - can't wait to read your final thoughts! http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif
