Does anyone know where I can get a complete list of the "series" of pennies? I was reading through the chart of penny locations here at Intercot and I realized that I had no earthly clue just how many different imprints are available.

Obviously to get all the differnt designs would cost a fortune and take a lot of leg work, maybe to the exclusion of everything else. I thought it might be fun to make it a goal one day to find all the different princess pennies or maybe all the Toy Story characters. It would make it even easier though if there was a listing by series or characters.

Thanks!

I would be interesting to get that list myself. My 5 year old son is a pressed penny fanatic. We have to stop to get one whenever we pass one of those machines(Disney World and otherwise). We have managed to start quite a collection so far.It would be fun to have a complete collection. graemlins/mickey.gif

This is the list of where they are located around the grounds. It's actually great because I was sorta wondering what I should do with myself if I got bored with laying around the resort pool. Now I have an excuse to go touring. smile.gif

No need to go elsewhere for the machine locations.

Wow!! I didnt realize there were so many, we have some catching up to do. It probably isnt a good idea to carry rolls of coins(airport security) Are the resorts able to give rolled coins for cash? Thanks!!!

I recently saw a post for which pennies were best for the presses -- can anyone direct me there?

Those will be BRAND new!

graemlins/idea.gif Another tip: you can fit $6.00 worth of quarters in 35mm film canisters... Just Carry 1 full of pennies along with 1 full of quarters each day. Much lighter and easier to handle than rolled or loose coin. graemlins/idea.gif

The link you are looking for is here (http://www.intercot.com/boards/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=009240#000000) .

It's the pre-1982 pennies that are the best because they are all copper. Shiny new pennies are NOT the best and will be more likely to tarnish opver time, etc.
The image doesn't come out as well either.

We save coins to buy Disney Dollars as a way to save for our vacations.
In the process, we put aside all the "old" pennies we find!
