Boardwalk Parking

Hi all

I'm staying at POR next week. I'm wondering, if I want to go to Boardwalk one evening after we're done in the parks, do I really have to take a bus to DTD and from there, one to Boardwalk, or can I just drive my car over there? Will they let me park there to go explore jellyrolls, spoodles etc? I've heard that transit times by way of DTD can get pretty lengthy. Just wondering if anyone knew. I know they've upped security and seem a little stricter about the parking situation.

You can drive over and park. Just tell security that you are there to look around, eat, etc. They'll waive you in. They are much less strict about parking at night bc they aren't worried about you parking there and walking over to EPCOT for the day.
