I love eating a good old American hot dog at the end of main Strret and listening to that awesome ragtime piano player. Anyone else ever listen to him?

I know he is at Disneyland. Oh wait... yes I have seen him at WDW. I think he is at the end of main street. Oh wait, you already know that. A great way to sit, relax, take in a hot dog and people watch, and listen to the Main Street music.

The eatery at the end of Main St. is Casey's Corner. The best hot dogs on property.

When hinges creek in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candlelights flicker, when the air is deathly still. That is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.

Jim is great - and very friendly. I have even seen him take requests! http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

We have a hot dog at Casey's and watch the 3PM parade almost every trip. We usually get there early or stick around after the parade so we can hear him play. He is fabulous. http://www.intercot.com/boards/bounce.gif

My husband really enjoyed him on our last trip- he even took a picture of him!

Also, we enjoy ragtime music in general and I found a Disney ragtime piano CD, (check thru the Intercot Store's link to amazon, and help INtercot at the same time http://www.intercot.com/boards/supergrin.gif).

It's called "Ragtime at the Magical Kingdoms" by Chris Calabrese. Enjoy http://www.intercot.com/boards/smile.gif

I've talked to one of the players in spring time and he told me he's been there for about 16 years. Very enjoyable and witty, he'll start playing Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head when it starts raining. Has a great repitiore of old standards that fit in well on Main Street.

Here's a funny story about the older of the two piano players. A father and his son had walked up to the player while he was already in the middle of a tune. The father had requested that the piano player play "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" for his son. Well, I guess the piano player has a set score of songs that he plays because often the end of one song leads into the next. The piano player told the father he couldn't do that while in the middle. As soon as the father and son were about 10 feet away and backs to the player, the player started to play his request. As soon as the father and son turned around to listen to their request, the player would switch back to the original tune he was playing. It was hilarious because the player kept this up three times until his set was over and then he played the father's request in full.
