Hey y'all!
In the past when I've gone to the halloween party, I've always been in the park during the day, and then as it gets closer to party time we look for the kiosks in the park with the bracelets etc. for the party.

However this time, my daughter doesn't have a park ticket for that day. So we are going to just go to the Magic Kingdom at 4:00pm when you're allowed to enter for the halloween party.

Question: our MNSSHP tickets are on our Magic Bands. How can I be sure when we go through the tapstiles that they are ONLY deducting her party ticket from her magic band and NOT one of her future park ticket days?

(I hope that makes sense)

I forget if the system automatically detects the MNSSHP ticket or if the CM has the option on their iPad to select that ticket but I believe the system just detects the event ticket...

I don't know how it works, but when we did it, the system used our MNSSHP ticket and did not deduct a day off of our regular tickets.

There are separate entry lines for the party. You cannot miss them (if you're paying any attention at all to where you are and what you're doing). Those tapstyles ONLY let you in if you have a party ticket. We were there on Sunday and did this. Several members of the Clueless family were in front of us. They did not have party tickets. They were obnoxiously vocal when ther cast member would not let them in and made them go over to the regular entrance.

If you use the "special event" lines, all will be good.
