Disney's Hollywood Studios Announces New Addition to Growing Theater District

Disney's Hollywood Studios has announced a new addition to the park's "theater district"




As we prepare to step into the wacky world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short next year in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, we’re excited to share that there’s even more zany adventures coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this spring.

Joining the park’s theater district will be a reimagined venue, the Mickey Shorts Theater.

Although not stated, Cast is reporting this will be a replacement for the current Path of the Jedi--with the Chinese Theater, Hyperion Theater and the new Mickey Mouse Shorts Theater rounding out the new 'district'.

I have never actually seen Trials of the Jedi open, so this can only be a good change.

Should have swallowed up Animation Courtyard into a theater district... But then again, there are other plans in the works for that area... Including Sunset Blvd and connecting the area by Rock N Roller Coaster with a new pathway to Animation Courtyard and completing the location with a new land...
