Low Availibility first week of October?

I was just curious if anyone could tell me why there is little to no hotel availability in the deluxe resorts during the first week of October?

Food & Wine Festival and MNSSHP will be going on. Also the opening of the first Galaxy's Edge the end of August and the hope of people that the rest will be open by October would be my guess

Most of the New York schools are closed Monday and Tuesday (9/30-10/1) for the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashana (sp?). So I would imagine people are stealing a day or so after and making a vacation week out of it.

Maybe also a convention(s)?

Most of the deluxe resorts have the convention centers, so there could be 1 or 2 of those going on adding to the demand.
