2019 Flower and Garden

Hello everyone. I have a quick question about the Flower and Garden Festival. We'll be in WDW on the first and second days of the festival, leaving the 7th, later in the evening so we'll get almost a full day in the parks. We've never been during this particular festival time, so I'm wondering if things are up and running 100% right when it begins, or do these kinds of special events take a bit to get rolling? Just curious about what to expect and whether or not it will be worth it to try and fit in another day at Epcot just to experience Flower and Garden.

Yes, Everything will be up and running at full speed the day the festival opens. They speed the weeks before getting everything ready backstage. My DD worked the Flower and Garden Festival in culinary last year. It is a gorgeous time at Epcot
