I got a call from my heart doctor with some not so great test results. I have to go in and see him tomorrow. Prayers and Pixie dust please that I don’t have to cancel our trip. :(

*UPDATE*

I am scheduled for more testing on July 2, so I'll have to wait and see until then. Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust. :)

I am just now seeing this! You certainly have my prayers for wisdom for the doctors, clear diagnosis, and complete healing!!! It's never easy to have a wrench thrown into the middle of things, praying also for peace, patience and grace in the waiting!
Throwing in some pixie dust as well, because, well why not, and It's Disney after all!!!

I got the call from my doctor's office. I don't have to have surgery. :) But I do have to cut back on my how much I'm working, and I can't leave the country. So, no dream trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge and no cruise. :( ( and no more trips to Mexico where I'm nicknamed Gamma :P) I was pretty bummed, but my kids are awesome.

It started with my oldest son saying "Mom, why don't you just go by yourself?" (He knew that I had been pretty excited about meeting other Intercotees.) I wasn't thrilled with the idea of going without my kids. (There were days when I didn't give up just because I wanted to go ride Big Thunder with my son again.) He and my younger son brainstormed and came up with a way to make things work. We're going to have to stay offsite (flashbacks to car trunks popping open driving down the road), my friend's kids can't go, and we will only be there for 7 days, but we will all be together and at Disney. :) I know they are all drawbacks, but I feel so blessed to have such a great life and great family. Most of the people in the world never get to go to Disney World at all.

Then on top of that, they are sending me back a week later to have breakfast at Kona Café with everyone. :)

I'm hoping that medical management will work out amazingly well, so that I can still go see my brother in Japan next year. I wasn't supposed to survive 7 years ago but here I am. Miracles can happen.

Thinking of you as I wait for my mom to come out of surgery. Hoping you are having a good day today. And yes, miracles do happen and prayers and pixies are very powerful.
