Need help with my disney experience. We have 5 families going and want to be able for 1 or 2 people to make reservations for the groups. I know to use other group confirmation number to link accounts, but when we did this it only showed 1 of the people in that group. So do we need to use the add to group under friends and Family? When you add it gives you an option to manage that person or send an invite, which one do we need to use? Say I am going to manage all the reservations, do I need to add everyone with add to group and select manage them or send invite and the system will allow me to make reservations for them because we have shared All? This program is not very user friendly to set up the first time nor can I find any help showing how to do it. Thanks.

I would let each family set up their own account, this way if they travel again they'll be set. So you would add them and send an invite, they would accept through the link they are sent and should be all set. You both need to make sure your check off that you can share experiences, etc. Once you see it, all should make sense. One thing, make sure the names on the account are exactly as you list them, for example if you add Bob Smith they need to list themselves as Bob Smith, not Robert Smith, not Bob A, Smith.

Lynn has the right idea. Here's how I do it if I'm travelling with my sisters and their families.

I have my family all entered and I'm listed as the "manager" of all of MY family members (ie. I'm the one that makes all the plans etc. for my family on MDE). My sister Jennifer is the manager of her family, and our other sister Kelly is the manager of her family.
Once I send the invite to Jennifer and Kelly, and they accept it, I *think* that's how I'm now able to make plans for ALL of us, even their husbands and kids.

At least that's how I set it up a couple years ago and have been able to do it that way ever since.

My daughter has 3 in her group, do I need to send each one in her group an invite or just the main account holder? I know when we linked my daughter and mine thru an invite I can o nly see her no one else in her group.
Thanks for all the help.

When I was confused about linking people, I called My Disney Experience. They were very helpful. You may want to do that too with such a large group of people.

You will have to link each person. Since you can't see them, I'm assuming that when you link your daughter, you are just linking her account, not all of the people she can see in her account.
