Illuminations Dessert Party or the boat?

I remember that there were boats you could take to watch Illuminations. Which would be better - the reserved seating if you do the dessert package or renting a boat for a large party?

If I remember correctly, you have a lot of ADR's planned for your big trip. In that case, I wouldn't do the dessert party. The boats appear to have a unique vantage point of the fireworks!

The only drawback I can think of with the boats, is that one boat won't hold all of us.
