Yet Another Fast Pass Question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but it seems the more I read, the more confused I get.

We are heading to WDW the week of Thanksgiving.

I have already planned my itinerary and have dining planned.

Here is where my confusion lies. In the tiered parks for example, say I am interested in one attraction in Tier 1 and only one attraction in Tier 2. Do I have to pick 3 fast pass options or just 2 attractions.

I am so confused.

You can pick between 1 and 3 fastpasses; so no, you don't have to get one you aren't ineterested in :-)

You used to have to pick all three, but this is no longer the case. If you're only interested in two attractions, book two FP+.

Now, I'M confused...If you only pick 2, then how can you pick a 'fourth' (or more)? I thought you had to pick 3 in the same park before you can even try to get more, say if you park hop or want more in the evening?

Thankfully I am not alone.

I do not want any tier 2 fastpasses for kiddie shows. Not interested.
