How early to arrive?

We are returning to MK after not visiting for a few years. I know they do the security check and bag check now at the TTC. We are staying about 30 minutes from MK and I really want to make inside MK about 30-40 minutes before park opening. With the park opening at 9 am on the day we are visiting what time do we need to be on the road to get through security, ride the monorail over, and get to castle with time to spare? :mickey:

They let everyone in an hour before, and then hold you at the castle. Are you thinking of being there for 8am, when they first let people in, or around 8:30, ready for the 9am opening?

I always figure on AT LEAST 40 minutes from parking to the front of the park, having the screening done at the TTC has helped, so you don't get caught in a mob at the front of the park. I'm thinking 10 minutes from the car to the TTC, and then 30 minutes from the TTC to the MK. You may be quicker, depending on lines and crowds, but that way you don't have worry.
