Thanks for the podcast. Sorry you had to do it twice, but your sacrifice is appreciated.

I do have one complaint though. You all really need to learn how to pronounce "Oregon". It is not OR-EE-GONE. It is pronounced OR-A-GUN. Pronounce it correctly, or you could end up dying of dysentery.

That's at least in the ballpark, but Ore-ee-GONE, drives us insane. I had a customer service rep in NY actually argue with me once about the pronunciation. She told me in no uncertain terms that I, the one who lives there, was wrong.
:thedolls: But then, my general experience has been that folks in the NE tend to use that pronunciation. *sigh*

Great show, everybody. Happy that @John made it to Pandora as part of the media events. We just got back from a May 11-20 trip (trip report posted today). One of the highlights was a chance meeting with Christine, at the Studios. I recognized her from Intercot, of course, said hello, and we chatted for a couple minutes. She was delightful. (Honestly the first time I saw her I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure but the second time I saw her I just had to say hello. When I said I recognized her from Intercot one of the members of her traveling party [maybe her kid?] said, "No way!" Made me chuckle.)

Regarding the podcast...I'm surprised grumpy @Ian wasn't more unkind to FEA. It was pretty underwhelming.

Ian, I am also not into wizards, nor have any interest in the fantasy genre (and did NOT do D&D), but I read the Harry Potter books along with my daughter and actually really, really liked them. Mind you, my idea of good reading is the Hamilton biography, historical fiction, social commentary, etc., so this surprised me. Just sayin'.

The TTA up walkway was also down while we were there.

I was also sad to see the Muppet Fountain filled in.

Regarding laundry and wrinkled shirts - I noticed that many of the CMs working the front desk at the Beach Club looked like they were wearing jackets that were either two sizes too big or too small. They looked horribly sloppy. Don't they have their own jacket? It looked like upon showing up at work they just randomly grabbed one off the hangar that looked close enough. This is a deluxe property...they should look sharper.

If you sit at the end of the Festival of Fantasy (aka, now, the 2pm parade) route, isn't it almost a 3pm parade, from your vantage point?

Can't wait to hit Pandora in November!

I'm sorry! I know I'm the one that pronounced it Ori-gone. That's my Canadian accent for you! I should know better. At least I didn't say "EH" at the end! Ore-gun is better, right? I'll remember that the next time I'm playing old-tyme computer games! It's like when people pronounce Montreal MON-tree-all, when it's supposed to be MUN-tree-all. Or when people really say the second "T" in Toronto, but we pronounce it "Toronno". haha

Carolyn, don't take all the blame. I thought I heard at least 3 people pronounce it Ore-ee-gone. (One of them was John. :secret:).

And the "Eh" thing I'm used to. We're close enough to BC here that it's not particularly uncommon.

Well? If I HAD 100 friends, I'd tell them all! Hahaha! Seriously, I'll try my best to get the word out there. Sadly, I tend to get a lot of blank stares and glazed over looks when I talk too much about all things Disney. Silly people don't know what they're missing!

Well you've got a few more friends NOW, Tiki Lounger! Glad you're enjoying the podcasts! Did you dive right in recently or did you go right back to Episode One and work your way forward???
Hope you can come to ICOT-20 - if you like the podcasts, the meet ups are even more silly!

Hey there! New friends are always good! I did dive right in and start with the most recent podcasts. My husband and I recently booked a trip in Nov. for the Food and Wine Festival, so I've been trying to catch up on everything new to us. I was especially interested in info about the Pandora opening and listening to you guys was quite helpful. Now, since I'm somewhat caught up with the newer episodes, I think I'll go back and start from Episode One. It's funny but, yesterday, I listened to the episode in which Brandy, the "Disney Mom's Panel: Cruise Specialist" talked about how she loves to help people with their trip planning because she gets to relive the Magic through them (I'm totally paraphrasing here...but I believe that was the general gist of her commentary), and it just clicked. Talking about our love of Disney, and hearing about other people's love of Disney, keeps it all fresh for me...until our next trip! So? thank you all again for what you do!

Sadly, we won't be able to do Intercot's 20th...:pout: The timing just isn't good for this year. I'll definitely make it a point to coordinate for sometime soon!

I was crying laughing listening to you guys talk about the Bubble Shuffle. I LOVE that song and agree that Behind The Waterfall is a classic as well. I think I'm gonna go start a post on what is everyone's most favourite piece of music at the parks now. Lol!

Just called my doctors office this morning and got put on hold...When the hold music started, I got excited because it started out like Bubble Shuffle! Unfortunately, it wasn't, but I got my (fake) Disney thrill this morning!!
