Time Change for Afternoon Parade at Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom will soon be changing the time of its perennial Afternoon Parade (aka the 3:00 pm parade).

Effective August 20, 2017 through the end of the announced operating period (Mid November 2017), the afternoon parade will be held at 2:00 pm.

Well, the parade does change at other times of the year (like when it goes to 2 FoF a day for major holidays, and at 5pm for Christmas filming). But this is really weird

After the Magic Kingdom's unprecedented parade time change in August 2017, the park stepped off the New Year back to its traditional time.

Effective January 1, 2018 and onward, the Festival of Fantasy parade has returned to a 3:00 pm start time.

Ah...so the 3 o'clock parade is again at 3 o'clock!!!

This caught us out in August/September! On our first day at WDW I had kept joking "We need to find out when the 3 o'clock parade is!" and then found out at about 2:30 it was now 2 o'clock!

Maybe we should have asked the infamous question after all! :mickey:
