I can't say for sure, but it was my impression that this was not a limited time show, so if that is the case, I don't think it's going away. I'll see what I can find out.

Here is what I found out...

Someone asked on the Disney Parks Blog the question:

"Is it only going to be in the fall or will it be a permanent thing?"

Here was the response from the Disney Parks Blogger:

"This is planned to be an ongoing part of the regular entertainment offerings at Magic Kingdom Park."

It is so much fun to watch. We stopped and watched it twice the last time we were there

It's not meant to be temporary... With that said, this could last another month, another year, or 10 more years.... It all depends on management... But for now, it's here and playing, and is pretty cool...

Though with Disney being built as a temporary attraction does not necessarily mean anything either. How many "Temporary" attractions have stuck around for years, or became permanent attractions.

Yep, supposed to be for a year, lasted for 15 years.

How about Festival of the Lion King. That was supposed to be temporary, and is now a permanent fixture, even getting a new theater when they took the land it was originally on, to build Pandora.
