Magic Bands needed at Wilderness Lodge pool?

Hello All-
We'll be at Wilderness Lodge this summer and are wondering if we'll need to swipe our Magic bands to gain access thru the gates into the Silver Springs pool? We'll have little ones with us, and I'm worried that if they don't have bands on and go out of the gated area they may not be able to get back in without a Magic Band.

We are at Wilderness right now, and the answer is NO. The pool area is gated, but just normal latches, not Magic Band controlled. Just turn the handle and you're in.

HOWEVER.....bear in mind that by the summer, they might install MB readers.

That's interesting. If I recall correctly the last time we were at BLT we had to swipe in, but prior to that at Poly we didn't. It would be great if Disney had some consistency here.
