I am going to the mouse's house today... The first ride I will ride on is "It's a small world"... why? Because it has the 2nd most INTERCOT memories for me.....

Then I will enjoy the haunted mansion and will recite out loud:

Welcome! Foolish Mortals, to the Haunted Mansion, I am your host, your ghost host. Hmmmm. Our tour begins here, in this gallery. Here where you see paintings of some of our guests, as they appeared in their corruptible, mortal state. Kindly step all the way in please, and make room for everyone. There's no turning back now...

Your cadaverous parlor, betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this Haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination, hmm? And consider this dismaying observation, this chamber has no windows, and no doors. Which offers you this chilling challenge, to find a way out! Of course, there's always my way...

because it is the 3rd best INTERCOT memory....

What is your best INTERCOT memory and why? II will share my all time favorite one later....

Should I say... The first post to the discussion boards after the site went live? it was like... Hey, there are people!

I think the most memorable moment was at the 15 when Ian and I walked up to our meet In Tomorroland and said to each other, are all those folks here for INTERCOT? And they were...

Some of the best times also have come when I was down there and I have done one on one meets with people who love the site.

That and my time spent with the people who have helped me run the site for the last 20 years. The runDisney weekends, ICOT 10, the INTERCOT 2001 Odyssey....... So many great memories.

Me too! We were so shocked so many people showed up to play trivia with us!

I have 2 favorite INTERCOT memories. One is when I found this site, and discovered that there were people who loved talking about WDW as much as I do. The second was when I met John and a group of Intercotees at Epcot. I don't remember what year it was, but I know it was right before Intercot merged with Westcot. I have video from that meet somewhere.

That was one of the small meets I was talking about along with the one on ones. Really enjoyed small get togethers over the years and getting to know people involved with the INTERCOT community.

Wow, so many to choose from, so hard to pick just one. Well, there was the Osborne Lights on there final night ever with the INTERCOTees. Then the events of the "Happiest Gathering" and can't forget those first few INTERCOT meets I attended in Rehoboth and King of Prussia.

Coincidentally, I was looking at my photos from that meet just this past weekend. October, 2005. We had lots of fun that time.

My favourite is tea with Christine and her family, and a bunch of lovely, fun Intercotees.

Probably the second is when I was first meeting people at the ICOT 15 meet, and someone said "hey - she's OUR Heather", it was such as awesome feeling to know that we all belong. :)

And my third, riding on the Great Movie Ride behind John, listing to him point out all of the things that were broken, or that he didn't like. :)

I joined only yesterday so I really have one memory so far and hope to make many more. My memory is I am glad I found this site and came upon so many friendly Disney people.

My Favorite Intercot moment was the first night of ICOT 15 at Catch a Rising Star. I got to meet the voices I heard on the podcast and was able to put a face to the voice. I think I was a bit star struck that night.

The boards got me through a lot of slow times in college. I joined when I was in my first year. I was a commuter so when I had a long time to kill between classes, and no work to do, I'd go to the computer lab and check out the boards. My now-DH was the first one to find and post to the site as we were planning our first trip together. Once I finally got the nerve to participate there was no stopping me. At ICOT15, we finally had the chance to meet so many people I had been conversing with for almost a decade. That was pretty cool. But my favorite memory would be running the inaugural Minnie 10K with my DH, which never would've happened without the support of the RunICOT crew.

A memory that sticks out in my mind was when my sister and I met up with John at the ESPN club to watch the 2008 NLCS game where the Philles won to go the World Series. After the game was done, Ian called us trying to convince me to sell my WS tickets to him (I have had a ticket plan since 2003). I can't repeat our response on Intercot :D!

Aww, Heather that is a favorite memory for me as well, especially since my mother passed away in late summer 2015. I posted the picture in Dining not too long ago (photo of us is 3 or 4 posts in).
