AKL buses

We are staying at AKL for the first time. My wife read some reviews about waiting 40+minutes for buses to and from the parks. Has anyone experienced this? What can we expect?

When we stayed at AKL in August the only long wait we had was returning from MK. Other than that they ran about every 20 minutes. We were at Jambo if that makes a difference.

We just stayed there in November. The longest wait we had for a bus was about 15 minutes. Even on the way back in the evening the wait was not long. We also stayed in Jambo House

My favorite resort by far! We've never had an issue with the bus wait. We have stayed there multiple times, both at Kidani and Jambo. I don't remember ever having to wait more than 15 minutes for a bus. The bus rides are a little longer, due to the fact that the resort is further out, but we've never had a bad experience.

Stayed at Jambo House in December, longest wait I had was 20 minutes. My husband and I have stayed at AKL many times, we've never had a bad experience with bus wait times.

We stayed at AKL Kidani and I didn't find the wait for buses that bad.

There was one time, years ago, that we waited like forever for a bus to take us to the park. Don't remember what park we were headed off to spend the day but the wait was unbelievable. We got so mad when other buses came to pick up guests and no one was even waiting for it. Bus after bus came in and no one was needing/wanting to board them for the other destinations.

That was a long time ago and have been back to AKL since and had no issue with the bus during that visit.

The longest wait for any bus is the one that you are waiting for. That being said the buses do run about every 20 mins. There is usually a castmember there to monitor everything and to make sure things run smoothly.

My last three trips, we had very good luck. 15 mins. Max wait time.

If you go at an off time of the year, you also make good time to the parks.

The times we've stayed there the bus waits were not long at all.

The longest I've waited at Jambo (AkL) was 10-15 minutes. The worst resort was OKW, 2 waits that week of over 35 minutes. Is it true that Kidani and Jambo no longer share a bus?
