Can somebody tell me what the gate price admission is for Animal Kingdom please?

Adult 1 day ticket during regular season is $102. It can be more or less if you're at peak or value season.

So if I buy 1 day tickets now to use for our December trip, will they not accept those, or do they ask for a specific date when you are buying tickets? I haven't done much research on the new ticket pricing yet...I really miss the days of non-expiration park hoppers!

If you try to buy one day tickets ahead of time on Disney's site, you'll be asked to give them the exact date you'll be using the ticket. If that day is, for example, a Regular season day, your cost will be whatever the cost is for Regular season. The ticket you receive will be valid on any Regular or Value Season day. You won't be able to use it on a Peak day. The ticket will also expire on Dec 31, 2017.
