Dreams Come True!!

My daughter, who has dreamed of this since she was 15 years old, just got hired full time from Disney as a princess! Super excited! Now to move her there and let her go..... :(

Anyone else have a family member whose dreams have come true?

How wonderful! I'm still in the "trying to force/encourage" my DD into the college program/international program.

I figure I'll have to work for Disney for a year once I retire. :)

My DD will be going down in June to join the culinary program! She is beyond excited. This will be so good for her career and hopefully full of wonderful memories too

Sorry for the late reply. I just got back visiting the World with my daughter one more time - from the eyes of a guest for the last time!

She is 18 and 1/2 and will work at WDW. We are still pinching ourselves! I am so proud of her for chasing her dream and doing this while she is young! Online college will be ongoing - gotta love web-based education!

There's a family that my family grew up with in our small school system, and one of their daughters is now Wendy in EPCOT. I also know a girl who was able to extend her DCP experience from 1 semester to two, and was promoted from a lifeguard at TL, to a CM at Pirates, and is ending her internship as a Skipper on Jungle Cruise. They both seem happy. Congrats to your daughter! I heard the character auditions are really tough.

My oldest DD did the college internship and worked in entertainment and remains a seasonal employee. She loves it !! She has many close friends that are characters ....
