Planning a visit in September with my 6 ft 15 year old and 12 year old. I need your opinions...2 rooms with adjoining door or AOA family suite? Definitely need two bathrooms and three beds.

I vote for the family suite. That way you are guaranteed the setup you need.

2 rooms, even without the adjoining door guaranteed, you should be close. I would have let my 16 year olds be in a room with our littler ones.

I vote for two rooms, since that way everyone get a real bed.

But, since Disney can't guarantee the connecting part (and I know, they say they will, but I've heard too many stories where this wasn't the case), the suite may be a better option, since you know you'll get what you need.

The suites are very nice but usually 2 rooms is a good bit cheaper.

You get all beds at the AoA suties, although two of them are pull outs and pull downs. I used the bed that pulled down from the table and it was very comfortable ... and two bathrooms. They're pretty nice considering it's a value resort.

We had a similar set up. We got the connecting rooms 5 of 5 times. We had this request put on the original reservation request by our travel agent. My sons liked to get away from me.:secret:
