Hotel Hopping

When hopping between hotels at wdw, do you have to take your luggage from one hotel to the other, or does Disney transport them for you??

Disney will transport your luggage for you between their resorts. The process can vary slightly from one resort to another, so check with the front desk and let them know you'd like your bags moved. They'll give you the details.

Generally, you take your bags to to Bell Services and give them your confirmation # at the new resort. Your bags most likely won't be at the new resort until after 3-4pm. Bags will NOT be delivered to your room automatically. They will be stored at Baggage Services at the new resort until you call from your room and ask for them to be delivered.

It's pretty painless. Just don't expect to have access to your bags much before dinnertime.

As noted, Disney will move your baggage for you if you are moving from a Disney resort to another Disney resort.

On the few occasions we've done this, we've just gotten a cab at one resort and brought the luggage with us to the second resort.
