Christmas time reservations

Booked a last minute of sorts trip and will be there over Christmas. Unable to get evening reservation for Chef Mickey's . What other places are hard to get at that time? Do you think there is a chance that an evening Chef Mickey will open up? That is the only sit down the family wants to go.
Also, I noticed that there is a special Thanksgiving dinner offered, if there a special one for Christmas?

Chef Mickey's is hard to get any time of the year, much less during Christmas time which is the busiest time of the year. So, it's not impossible to get it if you're really flexible with your time but don't count on it. Most of the character meals (CRT, Ohana, Crystal Palace,etc) will be very difficult.

I don't know of any special Christmas-type meals. There's plenty of decorations but I'm not aware of any menu changes.
