Ohana

We love Ohana and always go there on our last night to end our trip with a bang. This time we planned our trip after the 180 mark so we missed out on a res for Ohana. We booked Whispering Canyon but I canceled in hopes of scoring a table at Ohana when we go. Anyone ever walk in and find a table?

It's been over a year since our last trip, but walk ups didn't seem very convenient the last time we were there. When we checked in there was a LONG line of people waiting for a possible table as a "walk up". They had them lined up waiting along the railing near Ohana's check in desk. While people with ADRs were checking in and sitting in the waiting area ordering drinks or heading to the bar, those without reservations appeared to be just standing in line waiting. We checked in around 7pm so I have no idea how long these folks had been waiting, but it didn't look very enjoyable. Most of them looked pretty miserable to be honest. I would keep trying or find something else for now.
