Cape May Cafe or Captains Grille?

Trying to decide which one we would rather eat at. Any reviews of either?

For what meal?

We LOVE Captain's Grill for breakfast. Outstanding quality buffet for much less than the character meals. Have eaten there 4 times now for breakfast.

Can't advise you on dinner though. Never been to either for dinner.

Wow, this is a hard question as both are very good. We love the steak at Captain's Grille -- so tender you don't need a knife to cut it -- and the dessert there is our favorite -- the smore's chocolate tart. We have been the last several years and can't understand why it has never been packed.

Cape May is my favorite buffet. I'm from Boston where the seafood is plentiful and delicious, but I do enjoy the clams and crab legs. The only thing I didn't like here was the clam chowder. It's just not what we're used to up here.

I would say that it all depends on wehther you want a sit down served to you meal or a buffet. You can't go wrong with either.

We have been to Cape May Café for dinner....didn't enjoy the LOUD atmosphere and food was OK.

Loved the breakfast and dinner at the Captain's Grille.
