What do you do when two people want to go green and two people want to go orange? Do we all have to go on same version? Last time I was on it it unexpectedly made me really nauseated and dizzy. I now know they do have barf bags on this ride. My hubby usually goes green and I will be with him this time but the kids are orange all the way. There has to be some way to mix it up? This will be first time using Fastpass+

You don't have to choose orange or green when making your FP selections. Just tell them which color when you get in line. Our boys like orange, but the girls and hubby and I prefer green. We just took the appropriate cards last trip.

if you want to go green...like us. You won't need a FP. Use it for something else.

Thank you. Does this also mean you don't have to book everyone in your group for same ride? or you book it and then delete what you don't want. When on Disney's site about fastpass it showed an example which showed Mission space and picking green or orange. I have not booked using Fastpass before so I am trying to be as prepared as possible when my window opens.

You do not have to book the same FP+ for everyone in your group. You have the option of selecting the individual(s) for a given set of FP+. Remember, though, that you initially have to select a set of 3 FP+. Once you've made that initial selection (or allowed MDE to select them for you) you can go back in a change individual rides and/or times for individual members of your party. The system is actually pretty flexible, although it's not always the most intuitively obvious app in the world.

My suggestion is (once you have tickets attached to your account) go in and play around with the app and get comfortable with it. Even if your trip isn't for a few months, if you have tickets attached, you can actually go through the process for any date in the next 30 days. Play with it now while there's no "I have to get this FP+ in the next 30 seconds or my vacation will be ruined" stress. Then when your time does come around, you'll know what you're doing and (barring system glitches) things will go smoothly. Just remember to cancel all the FP+ you make when learning the ropes.

I'm not sure what the example is that you saw regarding selecting green vs orange for Mission: Space, but that isn't an option when making FP+ reservations on the app. I don't recall having to make that decision until we were already through the FP+ turnstiles.

And, or course, depending on when you're going, it's likely not even necessary to have a FP+ for Mission: Space.

Enjoy!

Steve

Thanks for the info. I will definitely go and play with the app. I will be in Disney Dec 20-26. So, I think it would be wise for me to have fastpasses booked. We then transfer to on site at Universal. Much more relaxed about that part of our trip.
