Split Stays/Dining Plan-Mug?

We are heading back next month but splitting our stay between AKV and GFV. The first 2 days are at KV. We were wondering if we can add the meal plan for just those two days, nd not for the final 5 at GFV?? Also, how long are the refillable mugs good for if you get them via the dining plan??

Since you're splitting your stay, you will have two separate reservations. Because of that, you can add the dining plan to just the AKV reservation, without having to add it to the other one as well.

As for the mug, technically the mugs are good only for the reservation under which they were purchased.

We went in October and my parents met us there under a separate reservation. They were on the meal plan and we were not. Their mugs were good for 10 days after they checked out according to the screen on the soda machine. I don't know if it was a glitch or what, but we used them after they left with no problems.

Technically it is supposed to be set for your check out date...we had to bring our receipt (we purchased them, no DP), and they had to reset all mugs everytime we transferred resorts..with confirmation of our receipt that we purchased for two week stay. We stayed three different resorts.
