Finally!!! After a long time of speculation and rumors, runDisney finally announced this morning that the Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend will be held September 23-25, 2016.

At this point, that's about all that is known, but we're already gearing up and looking to make plans to be there. A year and half is plenty of time to plan.

#runICOT and #cheerICOT is going INTERNATIONAL!!! :cheer: :walk:

Where/when did they make the announcement? Surprised it is not on their facebook or website?

Finally is an understatement! I was starting to think that they were holding out for DLP's 25th anniversary celebration in 2017. Glad they're giving plenty of advance notice--should be fun!!

So in for this...Paris has been on the bucketlist for a really long time. This sounds like the perfect excuse to finally go!

So since we booked a Disney Cruise on October 2nd, 2016 out of NY, we will not be able to swing 2 trips so close together so no Disneyland Paris for us this time. :sadwave:

E-mails have gone out. Packages will be released 10/13. Some TAs have sent out sign up forms but no prices and no guarantees you'd get in. It sounds like fun but it will probably be too pricey for me. :(

Figment!

Probably will just be part of the international #cheerICOT crew, but counting it in my 2016 vacation plans.

Anyone know how fast hotel rooms are likely to book up for on property?
