We are going to the World last week of January. Just wondering, anyone know if the Sorcerer Hat will be removed by then? Unfortunately I'm guessing we will be too soon for the TCM update for TGMR, correct?

Both the removal of the hat and the TGMR refurb are slated for early 2015. You will probably not see the TCM version but hard to tell if the ride will be open.

I didn't think the ride itself was changing, just the intro movie clips in the queue line and the movie at the end. It shows up in fast pass, so am hoping it will be open. With everything else closing, Captain Jack, Idol, Backlot, they have to leave at least some things open.
