Just booked Aulani!

We just booked a 2 bedroom ocean view at Aulani 5/3/15 - 6/6/15.:thumbsup: Its a graduation gift for our children. Son from college and daughter from high school. Has anyone been yet? Any tips or advice?

We just got back from a week at Aulani and it is amazing! I recommend renting a car while you are there, it was really nice being able to drive around the island. We also went to Costco (about 10 minutes away) and got beer and wine to save on costs when hanging around the report. There is also a Target near by that you can stock up on things so you don't have to get everything at the report.

The pool areas got pretty crowded during the day, but we spent a lot more time on the beach. The water was so nice it was hard to leave the beach to sit by a pool (since we have one at home). The character breakfast was pricey but worth it at least once just as a fun time to see the characters (we were a group of 5 adults).

The north shore was amazing. We spent one day at turtle bay and some of us took surfing lessons and we were able to watch them from the pool area which was cool. Pearl Harbor is also very much worth the visit. We took the half day tour offered through Aulani and it was a very nice time.
