Baby Swap With Fastpass+

So I've made all of our fastpass selections for our up coming trip, and one thing that occurred to me is how does baby swap work with fastpass+? For our trip we'll be traveling with DS (2), DH and DB. Do we all have to have a fastpass reservation for a ride in order to do the baby swap? For example, I made fastpass reservations for DH and DB for SM. I don't really care if I go on it so I made a fastpass reservation for myself for a ride that DS and I could go on together. Would I be able to still ride SM using baby swap? I'm not trying to play the system or get around the system, it just happened to occur to me and figured I'd ask since we're new to baby swap too.

In Nov we were given paper baby swap passes. I'm not sure if this has changed.
