October crowds

We are arriving at Disney on October 1st. Does anybody know how the crowds are the first week of October ? And does it get chilly at night or still warm ?? Thanks !!

its nothing like summer days when it comes to crowds or weather. The weather is usually in the 60s maybe high 50s to me that's comfortable. The crowds wont be heavy or light kind of in the middle

not sure if it falls in your vacation slot or not, but last time we went it was kind of dead the first week of October, but the Monday of Columbus Day was packed. I have never seen it so busy.

Previously the first week of October crowds had been mostly low to moderate. Last year, however, it was super crowded. All of October was. Even Disney was surprised by how crowded it was. Not sure what that'll mean for this year.

Weather is always variable. Generally you'll have at least comfortable evenings. Sometimes still a little humid and warm at the beginning of October. It just depends on whether the cold front the models keep predicting comes through or not. Check the weather forecast thread in the Vacation Planning forum to keep up to date on that.
