It's been 4 years since we've been to Disney and had reservations before park opening. If you have early breakfast ADR's at Crystal Palace - I know there is a separate line that lets you in for reservations, but how do they know you have reservations? Do you use the magic bands to authorize your entry or are you still on a list?

Yes, there is a separate line. There will be a board up telling you where to go (usually far left or far right). The CM will check your reservation number and you'll go in. They don't usually scan your Magicband for that, so make sure you have your ADR number handy on your phone or written down.

But wouldn't they need to scan your Magic Bands? Say you don't leave the park after your meal, doesn't the FP+ system need to recognize you are in the park before it will allow use of a FP reservation?

Previous poster probably meant they don't scan it specifically for your meal ressie. You would still need to scan in for park entry.

Ah, I misunderstood. The OP was wanting to know if they needed their meal info just in case. Got it!
