If I can't get to MK until at least 10:00 or 10:30 should i set fastpasses right away or do I take my chances with lines? Going 3rd week of August.

That's a tough one. If it is a normal 9 am opening, the park is relatively quiet unless 10:30- 11ish and then build through out the day. Afternoons do tend to have the worst wait times.

Do you plan on staying the whole day? If you do, I would take my chances with the morning and schedule my FP for the 2-7 time frame. If you plan on leaving earlier I would just use them in the morning.

Agreed. There are so many attractions in the MK that you will definitely get some 4th or more FPs. You may not get all the mountains, etc., but you just may. I would even say to make them for 11:30-12pm to start.

Definitely a tough one.. you'll be showing up right around the times that other people start showing up.

As stated above, I wouldn't book any immediate FP.

I'd take my chances til 1ish or 2ish.

Wait standby for a few rides, eat lunch around 12:30 or 1:00ish, then start hitting your FP selections between 1:00 and 5:00ish.

Also, as stated above, there are so many attractions at Magic Kingdom that there will be SOMETHING worthwhile available for a 4th FP after you're done.

We were not planning on staying all day. Plan is to go in park for a few hours then head to DTD/hotel for afternoon. Return to park after dinner.

Then make your FP right away. Grab a fourth for the evening before you leave.
