Is magic kingdom the only park that does an opening ceremony in the morning?

I haven't been to a rope drop in quite a few years, but EPCOT used to have a bus with characters and singing and so did AK. Never saw one at the studios, except the "rope". Smile

AK has not done theirs for a while, and Epcot might have done away with their even before AK.

My I think is all that's left and I thought I heard it's not even daily. Not sure though...

I'm fairly sure our last trip (July 2013) was the first time AK and EP did not have an opening ceremony of some sort. They did have the usual opening ceremony each time we were there for MK.

EPCOT hasn't had one since at least 2009 (friend of mine was a manager in Future World and drove the "opening family" in the Test Track car)...AK hasn't had theirs in about the same time. I don't think that Studios ever had a "show"; it was an actual "rope drop" at Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd.

We were fortunate enough to be Family of the Day once at Epcot. Probably the best Disney day I ever had for sure.

I thought they had the car drive ceremony on our last trip or second to last trip after recently opening the refurbed Test Track?

HS used to have the streetmosphere people out in force and a "Director" in a car.
