So, if they're wearing a safety vest, how will that protect them if it derails ?? had to ask. I cannot wait to ride it !!!:thumbsup:

We saw people test riding it today! They all had safety vests on.Imagineers and Ride/Show Engineering doing test runs. Imagineering is preparing to sign off on it, handing it over to Magic Kingdom/Fantasyland Attractions :)

Yes, they were testing Saturday (one Imagineer in front, one in back) as well.

When I was there last week they were running empty cars over and over. Also there were about a dozen guys with clip boards walking every inch of track doing something. They all looked like some kind of inspectors from the gov't so maybe doing the final inspections.
Hope it's open for our next trip in 41 days.

We heard the dedication ceremony is May 2nd. Does that mean it will be open to the public and will they offer FP's ?

I saw where the lead cast members are starting on the 22 so I wouldn't expect that for a few more days.

Seems more likely what it is... WDI turning the attraction over to Ops, then CMs training on the ride along with CM previews before softs... Sounds like softs could be starting though in a week, or less...
