FYI for those at WDW now. Park hours for today, Thursday, March 27th, have been extended.

Park closing for MK is extended from midnight to 1:00 a.m.

Park closing for AK is extended from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

You can expect large crowds today!

Was kind of surprising at how far off the projections were yesterday (the 26th). Day parade was packed and night parade/fireworks were really not as much. Lot of open space for both first parade and fireworks. I was surprised based on the in-park during the day but it was a bit cool (cold) at night.

At MK right now and I have never seen it this busy. Not even the week before Easter last year. Gridlock between Small World and Peter. Wait. Wait. Wait.

At WDW now. Arrived Friday, March 21, and leaving Saturday, March 29.

These are some of the biggest spring break crowds I have ever seen. I would compare them to the Easter crowds. At one point, Soarin' standby was more than 3 hours yesterday. Wow!

I have to believe that everyone from Illinois high-tailed it down there first chance they got after this awful winter. Traffic on the highways around Chicago is incredibly light this week.
